The bedrooms were lovely! I'd booked a King Size room and upgraded Mum to a Double, we were upgraded to Super-king Size rooms at the rear! Rooms 208 and 209.....were extremely spacious, beds huge, fans were most welcome in the rooms as we were there during the heatwave (3-7th September). Breakfast at The Belmont is to die for, very well made and presented (Full English), but lots more to choose from on the Menu. The Location is fabulous, you can see the whole of the Bay and is beautiful at night time to sit out on the Terrace and see everything lit up, with the added advantage of wonderful views of the sun rising in the morning. The hotel is literally over the road to the Pier, considering it's location, it's quiet but within easy reach of some fantastic eateries. The Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, Chris (Manager), Ana, Benjamin and Hayley (sorry if I've left anybody out) really make and made our stay a lovely experience for our 2nd visit.....see you all very soon and thank you!! x

Really friendly and helpful staff and very dog friendly. Our Poodles enjoyed their sausage in the morning! We stayed in a rear room which was very spacious and comfortable. Could do with a blind in the bathroom though!! Thoughtful touches in the room. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. My in laws found the bacon a bit too thick and hard so put them off having a cooked breakfast again. My veggie breakfast was lovely.

Parking is a big issue but not the hotels fault. The housekeeping staff although very friendly, were very loud and had things strewn across the passageways making it difficult to negotiate with luggage etc.

The breakfasts were excellent and the service too. Our rooms were well appointed and the beds very comfortable . The staff without exception were efficient, friendly and very helpful. They made our stay very enjoyable. The location was very good.

The rooms were on the small side. The plumbing was very noisy and you could hear the shower and the taps whenever the neighbouring rooms used them. Dogs were accepted in the hotel and on the whole that wasn’t a problem. However there was one dog which was allowed to treat the hotel as if it was home which was not acceptable.

We didn’t order breakfast as we feel £15 per person is a lot to pay each time, the room was lovely and tidy, tea, coffee facilities, small fridge with milk and bottled water to have, replenished regularly, complementary shortbread biscuits, dressing gowns to borrow & slippers, plenty of white soft towels, and plenty of toilet roll, binoculars to borrow, little packet of 2p’s to use at arcade, the only down side was bath very small for a soak, sadly the temp of the water was only Luke warm so only had quick dip, shower worked perfectly, hairdryer available and ironing board and iron, had a fan which we used daily, great size tv on the wall, staff very friendly.

Just not being able to have a good soak in the bath, told reception and they took details to tell maintenance person, someone came up to our room later that day to see if everything was ok, nice touch.

Wonderful choice of cooked, not just the usual full English- though that was yummy. Cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, juice, Continental platter- cheeses and meats, three different type of pastries. Plus lovely views of the promenade and beach from the dining room. Nothing was too much trouble for the serving staff. Beautifully decorated bedroom, great shower and wet room. Lots of extras- washing, moisturising gel, tissues, lovely fluffy white towels, proper coffee machine and a little bag of 2p coins for the slot machines on the pier. Lovely outdoor seating area at the front with gorgeous views. Also a brilliant well stocked bar and very informative young barman who gave us good advice on gins and red wine!!!

My sister and I stayed in a twin room for two nights, if we were staying for longer we may have run out of storage space!!! This is only a very tiny niggle!!!

The room was exceptional. Stunning views and everything within was pristine. Literally across the road from the pier and beach means you had quick access to everything while being away from any noise. The bar was also amazing. The cocktails were delicious and far superior to many you can have around the town. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Parking was a pain. While you can park on the street, it was so sort after we couldn't get a spot. So we went to a multi story which was about 10 - 15 min walk away. This added an extra £25 onto a two night stay.

The Belmont's staff are incredibly kind and helpful. We appreciated that we had freshly laundered towels every day, and the hotel is immaculate. Couldn't find anything wrong with the breakfast; it was delicious and had a variety of products. Everything you could possibly need is right outside your door, including pubs, restaurants, and even places to take a leisurely stroll along the promenade or the beach.

We were up most nights due to the area's excessive seagull population, and the bed was a little uncomfortable for us. Breakfast was pricey but delicious.

The sea view was brilliant and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was really nice and the pizzas in the evening were tasty with the jars of Sauces. We didn't have the best start to our evening but overall the food and staff were lovely all round.

When we arrived at 6:30pm we went to our room and it hadn't been cleaned at all from the previous people who had stayed. To be fair the staff gave us a free drink and free pizzas to apologise. We still had to buy an extra round in whilst we were waiting which wasn't great because we didn't think the prices were worth it, it was too expensive for one round in the Hotel, so we didn't have another drink. To be fair to the staff they were very apologetic and sorted it out but we had to wait until half 8 to get to our room after working all day really needing a shower and we wanted to be able to chill out for our evening. £210 for the night wasn't worth the experience we had. But I will give it to the staff who tried to help as much as they could.

Great proximity to everything, good bar and facilities, friendly and attentive staff. Modern room and bathroom.

Small room and no real way of cooling it, the weather was stifling around 28 degrees and stayed very warm at night so an AC or even ceiling fan would have helped. Also (and this is not the properties fault but needs mentioning) there is no on site parking so was pot luck around the streets and nearly impossible to find anywhere near. We are able bodied and being part of bigger trip (from New Zealand) we had a lot of luggage to cart around, had we not been able bodied this could be a real struggle.

Great location, near the pier Balcony room offered great view of Llandudno front Nice touches in room, such as binoculars to look at views from balcony, an envelope of 2ps to use in the slot machines, fridge, coffee maker, robes and slippers

Breakfast not worth £15. Self-service cereal and fruit but set menu for hot food eg English breakfast. Hot breakfast took a long time to be served, waited over half an hour from ordering to receiving. Waitress provided frosty reply when questioned about whereabouts of breakfast while we patiently waited. Toast and coffee were all finished by the time breakfast arrived. Mean portions, 1 piece of bacon and 1 sausage for my husband and vegetarian option for me comprised of 3 hash browns as the vegetarian alternative to bacon and sausage. Vegetarian sausages would have been much better. Would stay again due to lovely room and good location, just wouldn't have breakfast.
