Our bedroom was huge and so comfortable. The bed was enormous and we both slept very well. The bathroom was very modern, lovely fluffy towels and lots of accessories. There was a small fridge containing fresh milk and welcome drinks. Anita had made delicious shortbread and they left us chocolates too. Breakfast was so delicious…fresh fruit and yoghurt, toast croissants and a choice of cooked products. It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Lots of info on nearby restaurants and a nice touch of fresh flowers in the bedroom and spacious dining room. Anita and Richard were excellent in communication and were very warm and friendly. So peaceful too.

There is nothing to dislike

Excellent choice at breakfast of cereals,granola ,yoghurts,fresh fruit,croissants,and a wonderfully sublime cooked to order full english.Our hosts Richard and Anita took care of our every need during our short stay with sound advice on places to eat nearby and with the home made shortbread,chocolates,and sparkling wine to greet us in our room on arrival we instantly felt welcome.Superior king sized bed with top quality linen in a good sized room overlooking flower garden and grounds.Well appointed bathroom with plenty of fresh clean towels ,classy toiletries and powerful shower as well as bath.

Anita and Richard were lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful. They have a lovely home that they want to share with you. The room was pleasantly decorated and the bed was super comfortable. The extra touches of fresh flowers, fizz and home made short bread were much appreciated. The breakfast was superb in a beautiful dining room overlooking their lovely garden. It's a very quiet and peaceful place to stay and you are looked after very well. We had a good evening meal in the local pub, The Black Horse Inn.

Absolutely lovely hosts-welcoming and so friendly. Everything was perfect. Chocolates, home made shortbread and fresh flowers in the room, along with a bottle of Prosecco and beer in the fridge. And the breakfast was superb. Everything had been carefully thought of to make your stay a very happy one. which is certainly was for us. Many thanks.

Lovely couple who run the place, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it, freshly cooked and tasty. A good selection of tea and coffee in the room (I drink peppermint tea and there were some in the room) and some lovely home made shortbread. A small fridge in the room to keep the milk fresh and there was a welcome drink when we arrived.

The bed linen was top quality and the large bed extremely comfortable; we were impressed with the attention to detail, the delicious short bread provided and a chilled bottle of Prosecco. A very fulsome and delicious breakfast was also provided in the beautiful dining room. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly.

Richard and Anita were excellent hosts - they were warm, friendly and welcoming. They were attentive but never intrusive. Lovely refurbished house. Great breakfasts and the attention to detail for our comfort was much appreciated, for example ensuring we had fresh milk, water and shortbread each day. We were in Tudhoe for a family funeral and we couldn't have chosen any where better to stay. Many thanks

There was nothing we didn't like

From the cooked breakfast with chopped mushrooms done with shallots and parsley to the smashed avocada with lime and chilli flakes, couldn't fault it. Juices, fresh fruit toast and crossants on top that we just couldn't eat. Excellent

Lovely house in excellent location for our needs. Extremely well appointed room with lots of little extras you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find. Breakfast was superb with an extensive choice. Owners are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble
