I will start off by rating the view and location of the hotel; the view you would wake up to no matter where your room is was breathtaking. Looking out the window was enough to ease your mind to start a wonderful morning. Moving on to the staff; they were very kind, understanding, and helpful during our stay. They always welcomed us with warm smiles and asked about how your stay was going whenever they had the chance to! ALL the staff there were exceptional especially William,Donna,Keith, and the Thailandi lady whom i didnt have the chance to read her name off her name tag. If i could mention all their names i would. Breakfast was amazing It had a variety of options and you could ask for meals that weren’t in the menu as long as they had their ingredients. Would totally recommend giving it a try

Rooms are excellent - modern, spacious and very clean. Staff generally very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with food cooked fresh to order.

The evening meal in the "fine" dining area was very poor. The fish dish was cold and not properly cooked and the staff were very inexperienced ( in contrast to the breakfast staff who were professional and properly trained) We were able to discuss our issues with the Duty Manager who responded positively to our comments. This was certainly not "fine" dining !!

Excellent room, friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Lovely grounds and building. Lovely breakfast.

Choice of food on the Orangery could have been more. Food in Club house expensive for what it was and steak and chips too salty. Didn’t get my early morning call on one morning. Having to book time for breakfast when normally I would just turn up for breakfast when ready. An extra £10 charge for room service log you order food for your room.

Excellent customer service, beautiful grounds and lovely spa. The apartment was perfect for our family needs and was closer to the main reception than I expected.

The spa is lovely and I am glad we bought extras but it became a very expensive stay. We chose the Clubhouse for our evening meal as we didn't want the taster menu in the Orangery, the food was good but the clubhouse was expensive for what it is - a clubhouse for a golf course. It would have been nice to have a middle option (or for the clubhouse prices to be more reflective of the location). We didn't have the turn-down service as described by reception.

It is beautiful. The rooms are flawless, the spa is excellent and the service was exceptional with very professional, friendly staff and management who made sure our stay was wonderful. We stayed for our honeymoon it was the most peaceful, relaxing and luxurious two days - a slice of heaven! I’m pregnant and it was a great place to be with this in mind - FAQs and Spa sections on website are very helpful with information about what areas/treatments you can use in pregnancy. Restaurant staff were also very helpful with any questions I had about the food.

There is nothing not to like!

loved the attention to detail , spacious room, beautiful views, great spa, quality amenities, super friendly staff …. beautiful, peaceful, restful

the food and beverage offerings and availability left us without a place to eat, no where to get a snack at anytime and in the evening of Easter Sunday only one option. We could only have eaten in the restaurant serving 3 courses at £70 each which was much more food than we wanted after Easter Sunday lunch with family. The bar wasn’t serving, the spa restaurant was closed and there was nothing open in town. We ordered room service reluctantly and waited to hours to get our food. food and beverage needs more attention and planning for in house guests. such a shame to ruin an otherwise delightful stay.

We stayed in one of the two bedroomed apartments. It was spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. the kitchen was well equipped and the hotel itself has luxurious facilities and lovely, friendly staff. the spa was excellent and we booked a session in the spa garden which proved to be a great idea, as this was a beautiful, quiet oasis.

The cost of treatments seemed comparatively expensive, though having not had one, it’s hard to say where they differ from other spas and whether this additional cost is justified.

Always friendly, welcoming staff & love the location / setting.

It’s starting to look tired & dated (& not in a good way) in some places & could do with a revamp. Steam room didn’t seem to be working whilst one of the saunas way too hot (burnt feet going in & out!) - staff made aware. Also I think charging an extra £25 for a mere 90 minutes use of the “additional” spa facilities isn’t worth it.

Considering the hotel was fully booked when we stayed. Me and the wife were amazed at how well the staff coped, the spa and restaurants were not overcrowded and the food was very nice. The spa facilities excellent. The cocktails we both enjoyed and were really good. The hotel rooms were spacious and breakfast was awesome. Would deffo stop again and to be really honest I couldn't complain about anything.

Absolutely nothing . Couldn't have been happier

The rooms are spacious and air conned. Ben on the reception team was very helpful. The spa was out of this world and one of the reasons we visit. Gorgeous breakfast - did mess up though. Asked for no mushrooms and came with mushrooms, nothing major but when you detest mushrooms it puts you off. The views are amazing and the clubhouse is very comfortable with sky sports in the spikes bar.

Couldn't use the spa facilities until we had our room. Although we arrived very early as we've been on a weeks tour of the country, every other spa hotel we stayed in, allowed us use of the spa as soon as we arrived . We had a fee hours to kill till the 3pm check in. So we walked around the grounds and had a drink in the clubhouse. This would be my only recommendation for the hotel is to allow guests use of the facilities if they arrive early?
