The rooms could do with a revamp,wardrobes need up dating,the shelf where the tea and coffee was kept needs painting,the bathroom needs upgrading too,all that needs is new tiling,new cover for end of the bath and skirting bord cover for pipes repainting,apart from that the room was very clean,very comfy,also light shade speed updating over beds,and a matching lampshade on the ceiling light,definitely stop their again,the beds where comfy ,bedding and towels where very white and soft,over all a good 2 nights stay,I would recamend it to any one.

Tiles in bathroom,light shade on ceiling and walls,wardrobe doors and shelf and drawers need updating or painting

There was a great community spirit, the guy in the red t shirt worked from dawn to dusk, as did the yellow t shirted bbq burger chef (and others) to keep their guests and visitors happy, it was close to everything in Clee, there was entertainment for the kids and adults

The beds, rooms and towels were clean it was just a little dated and care worn, I'm sure a big chain like Hungry Horse has a few quid to do up the large en suite rooms, staff were friendly and kept the rooms topped up with tea/coffee etc and made the beds, doing their best with the rooms.

I have stayed in some top hotels and some not so top hotels in my time and for me the Wellow will sit at the top. Firstly the room we stayed in (7) was very well laid out. The bath was nice and deep and there was a 38 possibly 43 inch TV which is a very good size. They provided a wardrobe with ironing board and iron and even a travel cot. Soft towels and some soap and conditioner. The bed was the main focus, my god.. so comfortable! - I have severe pain in my neck and back daily and this is the first time I woke up without a single ache and without any medication. It ranks as the best bed I have ever slept in and I have asked them directly where I can get one from. The bunk beds were large and the kids had no problems sleeping in them - they are safe and sturdy. Food in the pub downstairs was lovely and we had evening meal and Breakfast there - both were really nice and very good price wise. The staff were all great and when we visit again we will be asking for that room! We stayed at the haven for a week after this hotel visit which was that bad we laughed on the way back that the best nights sleep we have had - was at the Wellow! We might just stay there for 5 nights next time!

Some drunk guest decided to start hammering something at 3:30am - but they were swiftly removed from the hotel so can't blame them for that.

Great to have delicious & reasonably priced food on site in spacious bar downstairs! Tasty and varied breakfasts served all morning, so no worries if want to sleep in! Staff were very helpful on arrival.

Serious design problem: only 1 window was openable as designed, it was already opened, but, as daytime temperatures rose to at least 28 decrees C, the room remained unbearably hot all night and daytime for my 2 nights there. Sleep therefore was severely impacted. (This is my reason for the low comfort score).

The food was great and the people were friendly,the rooms are very secure an i appreciate we get a key to the front door aswell

My room was only cleaned once during a 5 day stay and when it was the sheets/bed wasnt changed The shower curtain was stuck to the wall very poorly with sealant instead of being properly installed an fell on my toddler in the shower and hit his head.

No heating and temporary heaters in room that wernt sufficiently warm enough upon arrival considering outside temperatures(early March).However after a trip out,room was cosily warm upon return and throughout stay

Our room had a sea view:) we were taken to our room which is a first for us we stay over in a lot of bnbs and have never been taken to our room it is a nice touch Cole who took us up was really helpful and nice-Thank you Cole appreciated.

The room was cold central heating did not work however there was a portable heater in the room which made it bearable, bit dated but clean and had everything we needed.

A great location, staff were great. Free car park. Cheap but cheerful. Yes other reviews saying it looks dated. It does, but it's clean, secure and comfortable. It's in a great location and the pub is good. This is a great hotel for a budget weekend away. This was my third stay this year and the next stay here isalready booked

Nothing problematic. They are very on it fixing minor issues. It has improved with each visit.

Had an excellent stay at the Wellow, location was brilliant, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them (especially the young lady at breakfart, sorry forgot your name). Very comfy beds and the food served was great (portion size and price). In all I recommend statying at the Wellow if your visiting Cleethorpes.

We liked the family vibe in the pub and garden. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great with an 8 year old child with me. The are opposite was perfect. Free paddling pool, sandpit, boating lake and the little road train to the pier and the open top bus.
