Kings Court Hotel

The food was really nice and the catering staff were really friendly and helpful, I am gluten free and they were able to accommodate me. My room looked out onto a quiet grassed area which was really nice as I had the door open due to it being so warm.

The ground floor room I stayed in was very hot (stayed during the heat wave) and I had to have the door open to cool the room down. I felt uneasy leaving the window open due to it being a ground floor room and the window didn't have anything to stop it being opened fully from the outside. More information on the fitness room when booking would have been useful as there is only a couple of machines in there and I booked to stay here thinking it had more equipment.

Although there is no air conditioning despite the heat my upstairs room No. 82 had thick curtains and when opened allowed in sufficient cooling breeze. It was also not in direct line of the afternoon sun. It was very spacious and clean. I joined a colleague for breakfast and dinner. Very good dinner menu choice. The food was also very well presented in a timely manner too. Hot breakfasts were on a serve yourself basis. The food was freshly prepared and constantly being restocked.

We always try to book this hotel when staying in the area, the location is perfect for Stratford upon Avon or the Cotswolds. The staff are so lovely and professional always there with a smile if needed. The rooms are maybe a bit tired but more than adequate with a great shower and nice furnishings. Breakfast is amazing so fresh and a fantastic assortment of hot choices, toast,preserves, croissants, juices and lots of hot coffee. I cannot fault this hotel and we have stayed numerous times in all seasons and constantly had a first class stay. The only minor fault is the sign at the end of the drive really could do with being lit at night because it’s so easy to miss the turning into the car park.

Our room was very clean , and the beds were very comfortable, breakfasts were very good always hot and lots to choose from excellent for anyone with a good appetite. All the staff were cheerful and helpful service was always quick in the dining room. The parking facilities were good lots of spaces in a central parking area so easy access to all parts of the Hotel and rooms

The dinner menu changed half way through our stay which was a shame as the new menu was a little restricted for choice. although there were only two floors a lift would have been much appreciated.

very easy check in,arrived early but room was ready,and great to get a real key as hate them swipe cardsAll staff at reception and bars very polite. Well cooked buffet breakfast with nice bacon and sausages,and choice of fried or scrambled eggs,as well as lovely croissants.Other choices available all looked good. Also used the hotel bar which had good choice of drinks and the lady let me switch on and watch cheltenham racing on the bar tv.

Only slightly out of Alcester but with a car the centre was only a few minutes away.

Being a member of the covid shielding programme this was a first trip of this kind as we are still living cautiously and more restricted and have not eaten out in a restaurant for over 2 years. So the buffet breakfast indoors was an anxious thought but after mentioning my situation to the staff they were excellent and set up a table for us in the bar - separate from the main bistro which was such a relief and allowed us to book breakfast as we had booked room only. The understanding of the staff was wonderful. We also like the new system of booking a time slot and waiting to be seated which is excellent in these covid times and generally makes for a less busy breakfast time and therefore a more relaxed stay for guests. To answer the main question - the breakfast was lovely. Many thanks to all your lovely staff.

Room was spacious, comfortable and nice view from window. Plenty of room to park. Very quiet. Staff very helpful. Breakfast and dinner good.

We paid far more for our room than the price that was available nearer our arrival date. Dinner prices were too high and there was insufficient choice. We dined on two occasions when we were the only people in the restaurant so quite eerie - a bit like Hotel California! Long trek to our room easy to get lost!

Really nice hotel, always a winner when you have biscuits and hot chocolate in the room :P Outdoor area with huge parasols to keep you from burning + Bonus outdoor heaters for when it gets nippy at night

Breakfast: There were no Hash Browns when I went at 8am! (That said I did not ask so it is not anyone's fault) I don't think there is Air Con at this hotel? The room was cool though, this time I brought my fan just in case :P I didn't need it.

The television in the room did not work, despite a very pleasant young woman coming to have a look at it. Our room was as far as it could possibly be from reception and dining facilities but certainly not the hotel’s fault that it rained so we had to scuttle across the courtyard !

It is very nice I stayed over a friday night as I had to go to funeral in Pershore The Hotel was mostly empty The breakfast was nice. it was a buffet so you can eat as much as you like they didnt start serving HOT food to 8 am so Had to wait 15 mins for it

I couldn't get the TV to work I am an expert at handling a remote but this TV beat me it was an old Toshiba and there was no instructions of how to get it to switch or or get itv I didnt use the bar as it was empty when I looked in. Billy no mates I am not
