Best Western Plus Center Hotel

The hotel’s location is close to a lively boulevard with lots of shops, restaurants etc. nearby. The rooms are clean, spacious and bright. Breakfast is served buffet style and has lots of options to offer. Wifi worked well and the staff was friendly.

One day we ran into housekeeping who said they will clean our room. When we returned 5 hours later not only was our room door not locked but wide open with all our belongings inside and clearly visible from the hallway. When we complained to reception we were told not to worry because all of their guests “were nice” and nobody would steal anything. Such mistake should not happen at a hotel like this and definitely left a bad aftertaste for an otherwise pleasant stay.

They took from us more money than it was mentioned in booking. The price was 32 euro when we booked, but in fact they charged from us 37 euro, and didnt explain us the difference. We didnt use the minibar, all the rest from our side also was fine, why the difference in pricing appears?.... Turkish tradition??

It's a decent hotel close to one of the busiest areas of Ankara. Yet, the rooms are quiet. The staff of the hotel is by far the major asset of the establishment. Excellent service, very kind and polite and above all - pure professionals. Hakan bey (if I remember correctly, who was mostly during the evening/night shifts) is particularly remarkable. His English was superb and his desire to help guests was commendable. an uncountable number of places to eat and have drinks in the vicinity of the hotel as well as grocery and snack shops.

The gym is in need of a proper boost to be called a gym ;) and the breakfast and overall selection available- especially if you judge being spoiled by Turkish breakfast standards - could have been more robust. but you would definitely find something tasty to eat.

breakfast under my expectation .. needs improvement and add more options please simit and bread in plastic bag inside a basket! this is unacceptable should remove the plastic bag please 😅

Room smells from cigarettes. I don't smoke, it was very uncomfortable. Every time you enter from the street to the hotel lobby or go to the street you have to use security gate. And every time for every guess the gate starts the super loud alarm. Its extremally annoying. Especially considering that no one from the staff care about the alarm sound and security gate is useless.

Location was excellent , very central , close to Metro. Room was clean and neat. Staff was very helpful.

Breakfast was not ready till 8 even though schedule time confirmed was 7 am. Breakfast was mediocre so did not really enjoyed also due to delay i had to rush as i had to catch my bus. In all it was not happy experience vs rest of the stay.

The room was very nice and clean, I loved the design of the bathroom and the air filtration system was extremely good (my friend smoked cigarettes inside the room and after a few hours, it was all gone). The price of the room was quite good compared to some other hotels. I managed to try breakfast one time, but it was also good. Location is also really good - near Kizilay and near the hotel, there are many bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

Otherwise, it was all good, but the hotel room could have had a balcony, which would have made it perfect, but this is just nit picking at this point. Also, the twin beds in the room were a bit too narrow and soft for me, which degraded my sleep quality a bit.

The staff are great, especially the breakfast staff and the man who made my omelettes. The hotel is close to restaurants and bars, and my mattress was very comfortable.

The noise insulation from the street isn't great due to the large windows. My room had a few lights that weren't working.

Good hotel with nice location in Ankara center. Rooms are clean and comfortable except for air conditioning. Breakfast is very suitable; staff is very friendable and supportive.

It was enough hot in the room due to air conditioning problem, so we had to open the window which was not comfortable because of the noise from crowded streets / bars / restaurants. WiFi connection was a bit strange but workable more or less.
