Siamgrand Hotel

The room are spacious, well-decorated and clean. Our beds are comfortable with good smell. Breakfast is good.

One reason that we picked to stay at your hotel is the fitness but it’s been closed during our stay. The hotel should have informed customer on the website. Staffs at the 3rd floor housemate station made loud noise every early morning as we can hear from our room.

The staff were excellent, very professional and polite. The location is on a highway but it was very quiet.

The swimming pool was closed which we were unaware of at the time of booking. To be fair the hotel management did offer to transport us free of charge to another venue for swimming.

Room was big and airy. Comfortable bed. Good transfer to and from the airport. Sparkling clean. You do need a car to get around though.

I didn't like the fact that they didn't tell me about the pool being renovated and therefore we couldn't use it. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was the pool.

The hotel is not the prettiest on the outside, but is much more impressive on the inside, with spacious reception / cafe / bar area. The bedroom was large, very smart and comfortable. The food in the cafe was very good - with Western as well as Thai options. There was live music and a karaoke both nights I was there... and some of the chinese/thai singers were very good. Unlike other hotels I stayed in, very few Westerners at this one

The pool area has little shade.

I am amazed that this hotel gave us five star service at a time when they have almost no guests and a very small staff. The hotel was spotless, no mold or dirt anywhere, the pool was sparkling clean even though it’s rainy season. Breakfast was a set menu which they delivered heart and promptly. Mattress is a little on the hard side but very clean room. The bellman was exceptional. He ran to greet our car every time we drove up. If we needed anything he immediately found it for us.

Honestly can’t think of a single thing that was a problem. However it is just outside the ring road so if a guest does not have their own transportation it might be difficult to enjoy the Udon town life.

The room was cleaned and the breakfast was good with many choices and delicious. Receptionist and all staff were professional , helpful and polite. No comments about pool area because I didn't use the pool. Thanks.

Very good basic hotel, very friendly and helpfull staff. Spacious, very clean rooms, good bed, good airco. Good Breakfast with enough choices

No minibar, but have little refrigerator. Did not find the hot water in the shower, but its hot season so enjoyed the cool shower.

Stunning large saltwater pool, with beer and food available, at the pool is a large exercise gym. hotel breakfast was good, no English sausage or bacon, but it OK as we are in Thailand. It has a large selection of Thai food, with toast and jam, fruit, cereals, etc.

We picked this hotel as it had a pool. I had my grandchildren with me but the pool was empty and out of action. I think they should have let guests know.. it was pretty disappointing..

Could not recomend this property highly enough. Tis an absolute gem of a palace. Terrific value, just a pity it is s little out of the way

Only it’s location. The rest is top o the wazza !
