The location is excellent for visiting the town and its surroundings. The hotel is pleasent and clean, very well aired too. The room I got was very large, the bathroom was big enough, both were clean and there was warm water at any time. The staff went the extra mile to help me organize several local visits and also my trip to Huan Hin. There is a convenient restaurant next door.
The room is quite dark, painted in somber, depressing colors. There is little electrical light in the room, even less in the bathroom. Breakfast has many choices, but none for vegetarians - I guess for vegans it will be even harder to get some consistent breakfast.

Local Breakfast is good, location fit to your city trip, bicycle is available for your short trip route around the city. Parking is good and safe since it is close to front office of the hotel. the open air is good for nice weather in the morning.
Parking might limit when season comes during the peak , bicycle provide but no city route information, hotel may review the signs and safety system for new city regulation for fire safety, maintenance and renovation require for aged room.

Spacious clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast.Bed was big and comfortable. Convenient location for the cable car up to the mountain, nice Restaurant opposite of the hotel.
A little far away from the city centre (half hour walk). Staff were helpful (no English spoken) but not able to call a taxi or tuktuk after 6pm, no way to get downtown. Room service was not available. No water kettle or coffee facilities in the room.

The room was large and the view towards the hill is beautiful. The location is nice and it is easy to get from Sun Hotel to the different places to visit. It is the third time I have been there. Be careful, you have to book a room that overlooks the hill. Those facing the back are close to a noisy highway.
There was no tea in breakfast, no yoghurt or fruit juice.
