Very friendly and helpful staff, room size was unexpectedly huge.

While relaxing by the pool we were very often disturbed by outside visitors, students who used to visit after school, maintenance during the day and wedding preparation which should started 3 pm started at 10 am and we could not enjoy at all pool area upon being informed that pool will close at 3 pm for wedding. Guests from FIT room coming straight to the pool without taking shower, i believe management should enforce basic hygiene after use of gym. Also there is a very strong odor in the corridors coming from wet carpet i believe.

the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was big and spacious, the bed comfortable and clean, nice city view. big bathroom and clean, clean towels and hair dryer provided, hot water in the shower with shampoo and body wash. traditional thai massage for 1 hour = 500 baht - amazing the breakfast included, amazing food, variety of items to choose from. good location in the city, 10 minute walk from central plaza, close distance by car from bus and train station.

I have been staying at this hotel on and off for 15 years. I have to say that the strength of the hotel is the staff. They are always courteous and helpful. I love the location of the hotel and the ease by which you can get to landmarks around Khon Kaen.

Sadly, the hotel looks tired and in need of refurbishing. The lobby/seating area was always the 'wow' factor for anyone arriving through the great big glass entrance doors, but now there is not the excitement of the once fabulous water features (never on anymore and probably to save money). None of this is a criticism but rather an expression of disappointment, but it won't stop me from returning again. I just would like to see this handsome looking building being restored to the once elegant and rightly acclaimed 'best hotel in Khon Kaen.

Location was good ... close to bars and a local supermarket. Also, about a 10 minute walk to Central Plaza. The breakfast was OK, but be aware it's mostly Thai / Asian food ... and I believe, too expensive for what they provided. The pool was fabulous ... large and well maintained. I also recommend the gym ... which had dumbbells, a good selection of weight machines and a good number of walking machines (etc) ... and all kept in good order.

Limited western options for breakfast ... and too costly for what was offered.

The room was excellent. Breakfast was very good.

It was a gorgeous hotel, but in general need a bit of a makeover. I was very impressed with the room, however, the carpets throughout the hotel needed to be replaced. Especially the carpet in the bar area. It was pretty much horrible. Lots of ugly stains and looked bad. Looks like it had not been cleaned in forever, and really, needed to be replaced. That was a bit of a disappointment. The pool area was not very good. Once again, needed a makeover. There appeared to be inadequate seating and those loungers that were available were pretty much in disarray. And had no tables for the chairs. But we really enjoyed staying there and will come back.

It was just easy, everything was no problem. And everyone was just on point. It was nice. The only thing was I didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant.

Well if you're looking for a perfect 10/10 the pool bar only had one member of staff so when he had to step away to do other parts of his job no one could serve us and the shower head was too low I'm 6'2 and it's difficult to wash my feet when the shower is fixed the walk.

Good bed, location, quiet room, desk in room to work on laptop, nice design and architecture, good taste and volume of music in the hotel, good service, good WiFi, big swimming pool, supermarket nearby.

Food a bit expensive Kohn Kaen is boring compared to Udon Thani

The breakfast was excellent, after having breakfast at hotels in around 30 No countries, this breakfast was one of the best. The location was good so far as ease of commuting to and from the airport, however a short taxi ride or drive was necessary to get to the city centre.

Genuinely did not dislike anything, the staff were most helpful and polite. The features of the hotel were very impressive.

A beautiful hotel in a good location with everything close by. Professional staff who all go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. All the facilities in the hotel are very good, the restaurant serves top notch food and the bar and seating area are all very grand. I have stayed here many times before and they have never disappointed.

All was good

Everything was very good. My only dissatisfaction - given the price - was with the fewer breakfast options for a western traveler. Most breakfast items were geared towards Thai or oriental guests. Better breads and cheese variety would be much better appreciated. As well, the short order cooks should be more forthcoming to entertain novel ideas from guests regarding omelet of their choice.

Breakfast should be improved for western guests.
