The hotel has a serene feel with meditation music playing in the background, lots of greenery, a nice pool and THE best breakfast spread I've ever had at a hotel. Seriously, go for the breakfast! Staff tried to accommodating also.

I intentionally booked a room without pool access based on reviews that stated ground floor rooms have mosquitoes. At check-in I was told I was being UPGRADED to a room with pool access. As soon as I sat down, a saw a mosquito and remembered the rooms. I asked to change my room and was told they were fully booked. Why they would give someone else the room I booked is beyond me when I showed up WAY before check-in time. Avoid room 108. Aside from the mosquitoes, there were MANY ants in the room. I got bitten because they were also in my bed. Very uncomfortable situation. Aside from that, towels are old and the room floor was very creaky. Room could have used more lighting and a full length mirror.

Close to all amenities and big luxurious room with all the toiletries and large,big bath.

Clean, modern, large room ,with plenty of room to get comfortable with.

Friendly staff with very good English. Very peaceful location. We got upgraded with a free hydro pool and onsen session which was relaxing and we felt very pampered. Very comfortable beds and breakfast was the best ones we had in Thailand so far - amazing coffee and large variety of food to choose from. We loved the friendly security guard at the front who would stop traffic for us to cross the road!

Located a little further from Old Town - around a 15 minute walk to one of the gates. However, very close to the night bazaar with lots of food and markets - around a 5 min walk.

Very quiet location, which was good, still walking distance from night market or 100bth anywhere with Grab. (Didnt test Bolt.) Fruits in the room every day big bonus, I liked. Quality of restaurant very nice. Gym was good enough. Very helpfull staff. I had to do some remote working during the stay, internet worked well with the team meetings too.

they have separted indoor swimmingpool to SPA, so have to pay extra warmer pool or sauna. If remember correct, booking.com said something about free yoga session every morning, they didnt know anything about that, not SPA side either. Outdoor pool feels cold (23c water against 32c air), not too much sun there. 10 sunbeds only. Balcolony dont have chairs. There is a place you can sit, but not quite what I mean. Would be nice, if they add egg benedicts to their breakfast menu, which btw is very short, however its very good quality for couple days.

Breakfast was served at the other side of the road, at the waterside. You could choose from a few set breakfast menus; really great. There is even somebody who helps you cross the road ;-). The hotel design is beautiful and very relaxing. Rooms are spacious, with balcony and a good rain shower. At the other side of the road are great restaurants, so no need to walk a lot.

We liked everything about this stay. One little remark: our second room was at the other side of the hotel, but they asked us before whether this was a problem.

The hotel was pretty quiet and peaceful as it was not in the heart of the town. However it's a short walk to some of the night bazaars and eateries, or a short cab ride to the popular night markets and so it was pretty convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful with contacting some of the tours we booked, even if not booked through them the hotel itself. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast buffet was a bit underwhelming and a lot of the food ran out if you went to breakfast a little later (like 8am) and was not topped up (at least not for the 20 minutes or so that we would stay at breakfast). However, there was one day that they allowed us to choose from the ala carte section and the breakfast set was really decent.

The room is clean and well maintained. Staff service was excellent. Although breakfast is not buffet style, I enjoyed the American breakfast set as it was well cooked and generous in portion. Breakfast was beside the river which is quite tranquil as well.The hydropool was interesting and a treat. A short 10min walk to the local market across the river.

The balconies face each other across the swimming pool. So if there are other guests at their their balconies, we will be looking at each other. As it is low season during my stay, I didn't see others around.

Look for Aun for Thai massage, she’s the best among the others I’ve tried in this resort.

The guests next door always makes lots of noises at night with kids running inside the room till midnight. The sound proof system is not as great as other resort as this is a wooden structure building. I think it’s something hard to control but just be careful when checking with receptionist during check in. If you prefer relaxation, best avoid the noisy neighbors:

They were very accommodating to make me a vegan breakfast, the room is gorgeous, great location and room service and spa facilities were amazing (I had massages and used the hydropool and onsen. The staff is attentive and everything was super clean. I spoke to the new manager when checking out, she was gracious and kind.

The room was very dimly lit, so much that I couldn't even read my book.

the room was spacious , very clean . the staff were lovely , the pool was set in an idyllic garden. the restaurant was also set alongside the river and was a lovely setting

the staff were slow at breakfast. they didn’t keep an eye out when you were eating outside. we constantly had to ask for sugar and keep looking for staff for extra coffees , cutlery etc
