I had a pleasant stay! I decided to extend the visit. A great place to rest and recharge just by the beach. The chef made delicious food. Fantastic value for your money Highly recommended.

Basically everything about my stay was exceptional, from the moment I arrived right up to the very end of my 4 week trip. The staff were cordial, professional and the room was located in the new annex and it was a joy to wake up early in the morning with the sun shinning directly onto my balcony. My only gripe was that it went too quickly. I hope the management and staff keep up their exceptional work ethics and carry on with the high quality of service that they already provide.

The only dislike is that due to its location the cost of getting about on a bajaji can be rather expensive but this is no reflection on the hotel. I would suggest that any one visiting this hotel should download the BOLT Taxi app to reduce transportation costs.

I really liked the hospitality from stuff, cleanliness and variety of food. Kelvin the waiter, Ferida the housekeeping lady were exceptional not forgetting Maria the breakfast lady. We loved them for the duration of our stay. The pool was always clean and my sister was always there enjoying it.

At least having irons, hairdryers available in the room will be great. Having to call reception Everytime you want to use or returning to reception after use isn't a good idea. Also, the hot tubs were not functional considering the price for the room was made high because of those amenities. The seaside beach could be more clean if people were always there to attend to it

Our fifth stay here and it never disappoints. The staff are all exceptional and go the extra mile. Nothing is too much trouble! Many days spent by and in the pool for residents. A high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all parts of the hotel. The air conditioning in the room was efficient and gave reprieve from the intense heat! We’ll be back at the end of our holiday to enjoy a further few days.

We loved the pool near the room and the peace and quiet we had. The staff was very friendly and gave the feeling they will always walk the extra mile for you to make you happy and relaxed. Very good breakfast too!

It is good to be aware this place is quite far out from the airport/ferry terminal. Taxi rides will become quite expensive, the less costly alternative being tuktuk. If only staying one night it may not be the best option.

The staff were very responsive arranging airport pick-up at short notice and very helpful in all other regards. Room was fine with working AC and fridge. Good location, easy to get to beach or take a trip out to Mbudya Island. Our two boys really enjoyed the nice and clean pool on the hotel premises, making several new friends.

Our room was in an older section. Could benefit from some renovation. Breakfast could have been better in terms of staff friendliness and fresh fruit selection.

On arrival our room was beautifully decorated with flowers and balloons, it had a nice big TV with working YOU TUBE and AMAZON PRIME, the breakfast was nice especially the omlettes and pancakes and the fresh coffee was delicious, not forgetting the very friendly and super helpful staff from Freddy on reception and Magdalena to all the staff at breakfast and in the restaurant and bar, we had a lovely stay at jangwani and would definitely stay there again if we were in dar e salaam as it was such good value for money 😁😁😁

To be honest the only thing we didn't like was all the plastic bags buried in the sand on the beach when we got there as the tide was out but this is a result of us humans destroying our planet not jangwani itself and the we didn't like the fact that we had to leave!!! Other than that we were very happy with our stay 😁😁😁

This is my second time visiting Jangwani! I love the fact that I was treated as a family! Whenever i experience discomfort, they are quick to aid me.The employees are so creative, professional, when it comes to service, and they are so passionate about customer satisfaction! I really liked the location, close to everything I needed. The hotel also provides transfers to the nearby islands. The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable. I enjoy that there is Uber so the transport rates are good. You can use a boda body or a bajaji. They have a restaurant in the main area with a bar and pool. It's not too noisy. There's another side of the hotel on the beachfront where people visit for music and food. That part can be noisy but it doesn't disturb the quiet vibe of the residence. The staff is also welcoming and very helpful. The price for the hotel is also good, especially for what you get.

I've been visiting Tanzania for around 4 weeks now and I can say this is the best hotel I've stayed in. For value for money it's better even than some of the more expensive hotels on the same stretch of Mbezi beach. The rooms are large and well equipped with all the mod cons eg smart tv with Netflix, YouTube etc Large walk in shower in bathroom and all the toiletries etc On Valentine's Day our large bed was made up beautifully with swans from white towels, lots brightly coloured flowers and balloons tied on to the bed. It was a lovely surprise . The staff are very friendly and very attentive to every need you may have .The manageress Ms Soni Sharma, responds to any request you may have and actions it rapidly without hesitation. For example I made a request to her to change the piped music in the swimming pool and restaurant area. It was playing 3 Westlife songs from dawn till dusk..and I used to like Weslife ! The manageress attended to this the same day and now we have a whole range of easy listening music which does not become monotonous and irritating. Soni makes a point of speaking to you on a daily basis to ensure everything is ok and asks can she do anything to make your stay even more comfortable. Nothing is any trouble to her for her guests. The breakfast is really good and expansive. Everything from soup, cereal, many fruits, local dishes, fresh coffee , even Chicken curry. The chef prepares fresh made eggs of your choice to order and is really nice friendly guy. The swimming pool is large and luxurious and I watch it being carefully cleaned every morning. The staff are all so friendly from the security guards to the room cleaners to the bar staff to the reception girls. Special mention here to Teddy who is always smiling and cant help enough. If you have a minor hic-cup in your room..one call to reception and the maintenance repair man is at your door within minutes to fix it e.g. my ac remote control needed new batteries.

As hotel got busier you have to get to breakfast a little bit sharper if you want to sample all that is normally on offer !
