HOTEL CHAM CHAM - Taipei (Quarantine Hotel)

Everything was great. There were many convenient stores and malls (didn't had time to explore) nearby, train and bus station was merely a 5-7mins stroll away. Night market was also about a 15mins walk? Housekeeping was also done daily which I really appreciate the clean sheets and towels.

It'd be great it they had a in house coin laundry. The nearest was a 5mins walk away. Our room was located right beside the lift so it does get a little noisy throughout the night. We were given the highest floor and was facing a rooftop of another building and they had this really bright light on throughout the night so it does get quite blinding but it's all good since we had the blinds down all the time.

location is in New Taipei City so it’s a bit far from the main attractions. the only way to Taoyuan airport is by taxi and costs around 1,100NTD

Really loved how spacious, clean and new, and well-designed the room was! :) Amenities: Clean and complete -Full-length mirror and very good lighting -Personal care items and mini-bar (coffee and tea sachets) are replenished daily -Facilities all look very new - the toilet and bathroom which are really spacious and clean (no molds on walls and bathtub, and can flush toilet paper) -Strong water pressure + good temperature control (don’t need to wait for a while for the water to change temperature) -Very comfy small sofa, pillows, and beds Transportation: convenient access to HSR, MRT, and buses -All within 5-7mins walk -Various shopping malls (e.g. Far Eastern Department Store) within a 3-5mins walk Staff: friendly and professional -Counter staff addressed our queries in a timely and patient manner All in all, Hotel Cham Cham Banqiao is exceptional and it will be my first choice of accommodation in Taipei next time!

Everything is perfect from location, cleanliness and room but the only thing that disappoints me is the Air condition. Because it was too hot during at night. Other than that everything is perfect even the staffs are accomodating enough to help us out thru out our stay. Hope they could improve their AC, because it was such a nice place to stay.

Air condition, I hope they could improve it in the future. Would love to stay here again, but i would think about it since i can't sleep well at night because it was too hot in the room. If they could just offer a fan or something it might be a very great experience for me.

Design and layout are great. Near to train and bus station. Hence can access any part of Taipei. Quiet and safe to walk to around. Nice walk to Nanya night market, and found very nice Stinky tofu shop along the way.

The trash bin is quite small. Hope hotel can have quality check on bedsheet. I placed some my tipping near a stain on the bedsheet hoping the housekeeping can change the sheet. But was disappointed that it was not changed. There was no change of bedsheet even though I was staying for 5days Bathroom was not cleaned by housekeeping as I could still see hairs on the floor

Room was clean and spacious. Managed to open up 2 big sized luggages in the room and still had room to move around. Toilet was big and clean. Water cooler was available outside, with hot and cold settings. Nice view of the city. Location was great, near malls and metro and HSR station. Nice seating area available at the lobby.

Lobby was a bit small, felt very cram especially during check in and check out. Signage to the metro station was a bit confusing at first, but after a while it was very easy to familiarise and travel around.

The room was really huge, beds were also big and comfy. There were also adequate sockets available all around the room. The bathroom was very clean, and there was a huge bathtub provided. Water pressure and temperature was awesome. Toiletries were provided and the toothbrushes were great!

Having the luggage area near the door meant that sometimes it was difficult to open the door without hitting the luggage. Could be a problem if you have a big luggage that you want to keep open throughout. However this was not a major issue for me, if i shifted the luggage or kept it close, will have no problems opening the door. There was one morning we heard the ambulance and realise that there was a hospital diagonal to the hotel, however we didn't really hear it on other days.

I loved that they had a cot (a bed for baby) for my 10 months old. The room was pretty big and it was perfect for a family with babies and kids. They had a large electric kettle and free 2 water bottles in the room, so I was able to make the formula for my baby right after I arrived. You cannot drink tap water in Taiwan but this hotel has a free water server close to front desk so you do not have to even buy any water during the stay. The station is only 7 minutes walk and there are plenty of takeout shops and convenient stores close to the hotel so you will never have to worry about the food.

It would have been better if the staffs can speak English a little better but they were very nice and polite.

Location is close by to the Banqiao Station, about 10 minutes walk. However, it is not close to most of the shops and eateries (they are mostly in Fuzhong) and these are about 10 minutes walk away. Room is big and clean, separate showers, toilet and sink. Toiletries provided and bed is comfortable. Water dispenser provided on every floor too. Friendly and helpful staff who helped me to adjust my booking so I can have the same room, despite that I had made separate booking and would have needed to move rooms.

I thought the hotel was on the pricier side. There are cheaper hotels in Taipei with better location that is closer to the city centre.

Clean spacious room located in Banqiao, the hub of New Taipei City. Close to major transportation hub including HSR, TRA and MRT. There is also a bus depot within walking distance. Few notable department stores nearby. I had a great view of the city and it was quiet in the evening. Comfortable bed and the air condition was right and adjustable too.

The lobby was a bit small, can be rather crowded with tourist group. Possibly widening the corridor in front of the elevators, perhaps remove or reduce the size of the seats/sofa, this provides more space for people to move around. From both safety and security perspective, I would recommend an enclosed storage space for temporary luggage storage. Right now these luggages are all temporary stored in the lobby area visible to general public. Could benefit from having an onsite laundry service.
