Asia Pacific Hotel Beitou

Unique experience of thermal bath in your own room. So comfortable, that we didn't go anywhere else during our stay. It was luxurious, and the ideal ending of our 2 weeks trip around the island of Taiwan. Staff was super-friendly, but then again, I haven't met a single unfriendly person during my entire holiday.

The food was really average compared to what I ate in the rest of Taiwan. It's wasn't so easy to get to the center of town, but presumably this was due to the location near the springs. White wine wasn't chilled, but I noticed that's a thing everywhere in Taiwan ;-)

The dinner was cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious. Nice ambience in dining room and the entire hotel. Loved the free air hockey and foosball table. Loved the private hot spring bath in the room so don’t have use public one! Surprised snacks and drinks in room were free, a bonus :) Tea was very nice. Very convenient shuttle buses and polite, kind drivers.

The duvet covers made too much noise, whenever someone moves in their sleep the covers make a loud rustle and wakes everyone else up. Aircon was a little noisy and cold.

Room came stocked with coffee (nespresso machine), tea, biscuits, snacks and soda which were all complimentary. Loved the private onsen in the room. Loved the indoor pool and onsen.

Breakfast order options were pretty limited. For adults, there were 2 choices, one being vegetarian. Would be great if the menu could come with more local selection. Indoor pool closes quite early at 7pm, would have been great if it opened till 1-2 hours later. Onsen opens at 9am in the morning which I thought was a tad too late. 7am would be great for guests who would like to have a soak before they start their day with sight-seeing.

1. The in-room hot spring bath provides a comfortable experience, and the white sulfur hot spring has therapeutic effects, offering a unique bathing experience. 2. Two standard double beds are suitable for families, providing ample space and comfort. 3. The small Japanese-style room with Jing Sheng Yu tea bags allows guests to enjoy tea-making and experience Japanese culture. 4. The room offers a beautiful mountain view, allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of nature. 5. The hotel has well-equipped public hot spring pools and a swimming pool, providing a variety of leisure options for guests. 6. The all-you-can-eat breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, satisfying guests' culinary desires.

The mattress is too soft, and it's easy to fall off when sleeping near the edge, affecting sleep quality.

The breakfast does not provide sufficient choices, even the general dishes like sunny side up egg, omelette, cold cut meat, beans in sauce, also lack of real fruit juice.

No late check-out support, no room services for food, shuttle service is not enough that it serves once an hour only. AR/VR available timeslot is fixed and not offered on the check-out day. If you miss the morning session, you can't enjoy it even if you stay in the hotel and take a meal at their restaurant. Flexibility is less.

Upon checkout at 5am, my transport didnt arrive & nearly missing our flight back to Singapore. The Front office staff Mandy went to the extra mile to assist to book 2 taxis which arrived at the hotel within 5mins & successfully send us to the airport before the check in timing. The hotel also prepared takeaway breakfast for us to eat on the way as we have a early flight. In the end we brought the food back to Singapore & it still tasted great.

Breakfast buffet can have more choices.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the hotel staff were so generous in welcoming us warmly! We particularly enjoyed in the in-room private hot spring. The breakfast was also amazing. The room was clean, comfortable, and simply perfect. Thank you for one of the most amazing stays we had on our trip here. We'll be back again simply because we enjoyed it so much!

Very nice in room hot spring, friendly staff who helped to make our stay a very comfortable one. My kids love the air hockey tables and the pool looked very inviting too. Breakfast was good but lacking in variety. On-site restaurant was a good choice for dinner, especially with kids.

Nothing. Room can be a bit cleaner around the corners and edges of beds but nothing much else to complain about.

staff was absolutely super. going out of their way to help my family. very friendly and always going the extra mile. the spa was also really awesome.

the restaurant was average. breakfast was good but the dinner was not. hot spring facility was very good. there is no gym though so when it’s raining it’s a little limiting as to what you can do

Generally this is a good hot spring hotel in Beitou with a good standard of hygiene, good hot spring and modernised spacious room. Buffet breakfast, though not a lot of variety, but sumptuous and delicious, more than enough.

It is more expensive in terms of value. It is a nice hotel but not a valuable choice. Time for public hot Spring is too short till 22:00. Check in time at 16:00 is too late.
