Hotel Initial-Beer

Short walk to the bus stop which was convenient, I like the use of reusable plastics (ie bottles of shampoo/shower gel etc as opposed to one time use), room was not the biggest but it was clean and sufficient for our use. Convenience store was also a short walk away and the area outside was also safe even when it was late at night.

we arrived at 250pm and we still had to wait till exactly 3pm on the dot to check in. Not sure if it's a system issue but thought it might be better if the hotel was more flexible.

The location of Beer Hotel is exceptional great. It is close to the center of Tainan – the canal, the shopping area, local eateries, and the "River" park – all at a reach of few minutes' walk. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. And do not forget how the hotel gets its name: there's a bar serving craft beers (tap and bottled) which would end your day of exploring the wonderful city of Tainan.

There's only a tiny window in my room so the view is very limited (Due to the structure of the building itself). But still, when you can reach probably most of the places you wanna go within walking distance, I wouldn't mind having no window at the room.

All the staffs including Angela were very hospitable and kind. There was also free beer per pax per room, so that was nice. Room are a good size, location has lots of yummy food nearby! Amenities are very nice (soap, toothbrush, etc.), bed and duvet is very comfy. Next to police station so feels very safe :)

Not so good views but you pay for what you get really.

The room was quite clean, and the bed was comfortable. Check in and check out are done largely on a kiosk, so things are quick. The hotel's beer bar does have a decent selection, though two of the beers on tap were sold out. The addition of the "beer spa" is a quirky way to pass an hour. Stay here for the novelty of the beer decor.

-One of the novelty beer glass-shaped wall lights in the room was out, which was part of the appeal of staying in the room.

Good location on Tainan. I can easy go anywhere popular spots. Staffs are nice. It’s hard to park the car around there. I’m happy I booked this hotel. They have their own car park. That is one of the reason I booked this hotel. I willing to book this hotel next time when I go to Tainan.

Clean, cozy small boutique hotel. Good location because it’s close to local good food and attractions. Neighborhood is quiet as well.

The bed is so comfortable that I can’t get up from there. And it’s very quiet! I will come back again.

The bed mattress and pillow is very comfortable. Room is clean and good location. Value for money!
