Hotel Simi

Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and well kept. It's quiet and just off the Main Street in Zermatt. The closest lift is about a 15 min walk. You can easily buy ski lift tickets at the front desk and store your ski's in the ski room downstairs. The staff organized a beautiful delicious cake for my son's birthday and decorated the room with balloons! It was very special.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were old and squishy. The bar needs an update and better music to make it more inviting.

We had to leave early on our day of departure. We found that we were unable to access the ski room. We had settled our bill the night before and they must have then made our key card inoperable even though we were not due to check out until the following day. This meant we were unable to get our skis out at 6am on the morning of departure. It was very frustrating as our train was due to leave Zermatt at 06.37. Eventually a member of the breakfast staff arrived and was able to help but this was very stressful and should not have happened. Advise take your skis to the room the night before departure….. 😰😰😰

clean; staff polite ; near to the train station; they have a small sauna and a small jacuzzi which I used it after a long hiking day the breakfast is very good , also!

I paid for a small single room( 16 m2) and I wasnt expecting luxury , but that room was so crowded ( wardrobe , table, chair, armchair, tv commode with minibar), a bit outdated, and there is no balcony ; it was on the back of the hotel with a small window and they let me impression that they are not "single travelers friendly ". the bed is kind a small for someone tall ; probably next time I need to book a double room to feel better or ask the single room on the front side :)

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Simi in Zermatt! The hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw away from the train station, made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of tasty options to start the day. The room was not only comfortable but also provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. I would highly recommend Hotel Simi to anyone seeking a wonderful experience in Zermatt.

Loved it- had no issues

Lovely hotel only a 3 minute walk from the train station and around 30 seconds from the main street but really quiet. Breakfast was good with a combination of continental breads, cheeses, cold meats, cereals etc but also had some hot food options such as scrambled eggs, homemade baked beans, sausage patties and bacon. Room (we had one of the renovated ones) and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helped us out with finding places to eat and recommended trips to do. We only had 2 nights here but could have easily stayed for more.

The location was perfect. Easy access to everything in town. I appreciated the ski room for ski’s and boots. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk attendant, Christina, was the best!

The spa could use some improvements. The sauna and the steam room were great, but the hot tub wasn’t very hot and the jets didn’t stay on for very long.

Very convenient location close to train station and shops. We really enjoyed breakfast and spacious enough room. You can find clean towels and all what you might need for a long weekend break, including small fridge for your wine or beer. We did not ski, but there is spacious ski room as well.

Nothing in particular, our soon was only a little upset he couldn't practice on piano in the lobby bar as it was not functioning, but obviously this is not a drama.

They upgraded us to a two bedroom apartment, plus one very large room. We were traveling with our dogs, and they put out water bowls and beds with blankets for the dogs. Very much appreciated.

Nothing, I can't think of a single improvement-staff were incredibly kind, great breakfast and the rooms were huge, very clear and super comfortable. would not change a thing.

The room is spacious, free apples and coffee, short walking distance to train station.

Maybe the lack of view from my room as it’s located behind other buildings and next to another hotel which basically blocks the view. But it doesn’t matter really. You’ll be exhausted from exploring Zermatt and have no time to look at views from the balcony. 😝

Friendly, comfortable modern hotel with lounge bar. The family room was larger than average with ensuite facilities, double bed and bunk beds. It was useful having a small seating area with a table and armchairs to relax in the room. Breakfast was amazing and so too was cake and coffee after a day on the slopes. The bar lounge had a real fire and bar staff and reception staff friendly. Great location just off the main street in the centre of town. Covid safe hotel

It was a shame that you had to book the spa in advance (but this was understandable as it was for covid safety reasons).
