B&B HOTEL Rothrist Olten

Comfortable, quiet room. We've stayed at lots of B&B hotels around Europe, and this was a good one. The location is useful when travelling across Switzerland because it's centrally located close to the highway between Zurich and Bern, near the road to Lucerne. The area immediately around the hotel isn't great, but it's convenient for a stop-off.

There's an extra payment for parking, which I understand for city hotels where parking is in demand, but not for a place like this, which is in an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere. It was only 5 francs for the night, but it was irritating.

We only stayed here one night during our travel through Switzerland. The hotel is close to the highway and easy to reach. On the outside the hotel looks very outdated, but on the inside it looks very nice. The rooms where not that big, but had everything you needed. The breakfast was very good. For Switzerland this hotel has a very fair price.

Be aware that you have to pay for parking

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway. Very good choice as stop over when you are traveling to Italy. Room was clean. A very big shower. Nice beds. Decent breakfast.

Parking costs 5 chf which it did not say in the booking information. Is a small amount but still nice to know upfront.

Wonderful staff. Very helpful. Especcialy we had a problem with reservation when we arrived and the receptionist that time was really very willing and helped us to solve it although the time had already passed..

We just spent one night (we were driving from Vienna to Madrid and stopped for some rest) but it was perfect. Closed to the highway, nice little town. Room was nicely furnished and very clean. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Dog friendly hotel (but cost extra 20€)

The property has a huge private parking place but you still have to pay extra for parking, which is weird.

Thin walls -- you could hear lots of noises from other rooms and from outside.

Comfortable bed (160cm wide), generous shower, good wifi connection, parking in front of the building, excellent receptionist. Hotel looks very clean with enough desinfectant for the customers. Close to motorway.

Payed parking (chf 5) but no closed off area though the place seemed secure, small room as was to expected, noisy distribution center next to the hotel forcing us to sleep with the window closed.
