Hôtel des Alpes

The Hotel des Alpes is set in the perfect location for a visit to Nyon, or even nearby Geneva. It is five minutes walk from the train station, with a fast service to Geneva of about 15 Minutes, and onward to Lausanne. The hotel has wonderful views od Lake Geneva and across the Lake to the French Alps and their lakeside resorts.lt is easy to walk down to the lakefront from the hotel and board a steamer across the Lake or simply to promenade along the beautiful waterfront and enjoy the many cafes and restaurants. Nyon is a busy shopping centre, with many sporting activities, swimming pools, tennis and nearby golf at Prangins. It has many historic sites to visit, including the Roman Amphitheatre and Roman forum, with a fantastic museum, as well as many art boutiques and exhibitions. Young and old will all have plenty of attractions for a holiday

It is hard to find anything to criticize about the hotel, as staff are so an ious to please, and the amenities and attractions of Nyon are within such close reach.

great location for our trip. check in area and dining room looked good but not open so we had to eat out and breakfast was served in their meeting room. Our room was on corner with a view which we requested but I believe we were upgraded. bathroom tub/shower needs to be upgraded as the shower water leaked out on the floor if it hit you wrong. Prefer room with shower only as the tub was a little deep and hard to get in/out of. no staff at hotel in the evening so we had to take our key and I believe know the code to get in. Some cases the door was unlocked.

The property was conveniently located to everything including short walk to the station. The rooms are basic but great for a short stay. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were amazing. There is a mini bar in the room.

The only fault is it is a bit noisy at night due to bar downstairs. Otherwise a great place.

Good location. Friendly stuff. Its clean. For one night stay its good. Excellent coffee ☕

No reception after 20.00h. Some people were laut in the evening just before midnight. You need to give credit card for reservation even though you pay everything in advance. No utility for coffee or tea in the room. Matrices hart. There were hair on the bed sheet and small red pillow (decorative) had strains on.

The lake is in walking distance. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast is pretty good considering the size of the hotel. It is very clean. Good value for money overall.

In the first room we got the heating was not working. The staff offered us to change. The second room was overall much butter - less dated.

Excellent location short walk to lake and super restaurants.

Unfortunately bar and restaurant was closed for holidays. Breakfast good and excellent gent in charge of managing break proceedings

Central location, nice room, very clean and good facilities.

Bit expensive in comparison to other places I’ve stayed.
