Mosebacke Hostel

Excellent cost benefit, good breakfast and accomodations. You can park your car in front of the Hostel without problems except by Thursdays from 0:00 to 6:00 o'clock. All the Hostel personals are very friendly and supportive. I greatly recommend.

Time slot for the breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30. It could be ended by 10:00 o'clock.

Good location - metro, shops and coffee places nearby, Gamla Stan in walking distance. Very friendly staff, I got to check in one hour earlier than expected. The breakfast (8-9:30 am) was basic but sufficient (stuff for sandwiches, juice, jam, boiled eggs, some fruit and more). Spacious private bathroom, shower had very hot water. At night after 8 pm you get in with a code. The bed was comfortable, two pillows and one warm blanket. Three towels provided for one person. One ceiling lamp and one smaller reading lamp next to the bed.

I didn't like the constant AC (faint cold air blowing at all times), it was quite cold in the room (in November). The walls were quite thin and I could hear other people around me but I had no problems sleeping, although I am a light sleeper. The floorboard squeaked (thankfully not next to the bed but only next to the door) - even when someone was walking in the room next to me, my floor squeaked too. Wifi had some trouble connecting but it worked great when connected. Not enough tables at breakfast so I took the food to my room to eat.

The hostel has a very good location. It is located on a quiet street close to many dining and nightlife establishments. It's about a 40-minute walk from the train station. The breakfast is good. There is a well-equipped shared kitchen. The communal bathrooms and toilets are clean. The beds are comfortable. It offers an excellent value for money.

We were in a windowless room, which was small but sufficient for us. The only major downside is that the walls are very thin, and you can hear sounds from the neighboring rooms and the corridor.

The Hostel is well run by Roy and his team, they are all friendly and helpful, the young girl who cleans the rooms keeps them spotless, she also keeps the shared Womens bathroom equally clean, the shared kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals . The breakfast on offer is plentiful and tasty for all needs, The hostel is a short walk away from the metro and shops. WiFi good , everything you need for your stay in Stockholm Well recommended

Reasonably close to the old town and other touristy places in city. Breakfast ok, you could make sandwiches or have cereal. Room was clean, not big, but had the necessaries (no closet however, just some pegs on the wall). The quality of sleep rather depended on neighbors behavior - first night great, on second night some idiot found it necessary to bang repeatedly (against the door? or maybe other reason...) at 3am, there went my good night's sleep. Communal kitchen was good and clean. I stayed in a separate room with a bathroom, so cannot comment on shared facilities.

Showering was not the highlight of the stay - the shower head was not in good condition and spewed water from unusual places. It was difficult to regulate the water temperature - it went from cold to scalding in little time.

Very helpful staff and nice services. The location was great and near to the city center.

The breakfast, if you stay more than 3-4 days, is very basic. It would be nice if they add new flavors every now and then. Can't blame the hostel itself but since there is no 24hour reception the first 3 days we had the worst neighbors, really really loud laughing, yelling until 12:00pm. As a result we couldn't sleep .

Owner tipped us a charming lunch buffet place across the street, where kids ate for free! Food was really good as well and price unbeatable, and by coincidence the owner himself appeared same time eating there on same big table :-)

Well rooms did not have much windows, but in downtown Stockholm this price for whole family considering simple breakfast was also included, was very affordable indeed, so cannot really complain as otherwise very nice people and stay.

The hostel is well located and the room has all the indicated amenities. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. If you want a place that is close to everything, this one is for you.

As some people stated in previous ratings, the floor is really squeaky and the walls are quite thin. You can hear what people are doing in the room beside you and they'll probably hear whatever you do inside yours. Moreover, the Wi-Fi connection was oscillating and didn't have good speed.

The breakfast was delicious and more than enough. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is great, on the next street corner there is a store where you can find any kind of food. The shopping street starts on the next street. The nearest metro station is 7 min on foot. Despite the equipment of our room was without windows (we knew that), the vantialation system worked very well.

The rooms were quite comfy and definitely worth the money. The bed's were good. The small fridge in the rooms with showers were a great bonus. The staff was mostly very friendly. We arrived to Stockholm early on the day of the check-in and left earlier the next day so we were offered to use our breakfast the day we arrived. The breakfast had everything needed and a bit more, we were very satisfied.

The walls were quite thin and some sort of humming noises were loud. We recommend earplugs if someone is a light sleeper. The bathrooms were not in the best condition but worked well, the water temperature changed on itself from hot to freezing. One staff member seemed a bit rude but we hope that this was because they weren't so fluent in English.
