Gran Hotel Botánicos

This is a modern multi-storied hotel located near to the railway station (which makes it sound awful) which ticks every box. It is perfectly located for accessing the old town (the internal elevators that service the 9 floors take you to upper street level). Rooms are large and modern, the bathroom was large and the shower fantastic. I had room 206, which must be unique in the whole hotel as it has a large multi-level private terrace attached. Ideal for drying clothes in the summer or - if you have enough friends - for a drinks gathering I guess. Parking onsite at 10 euro a day solves car issues.

Good sized to room. Super staff. Free parking. In the centre of town. Would stay again

Since Covid hotels have stopped leaving written information in the room. Not just this hotel, it happens everywhere, every country, and it's a detriment in my opinion

We decided to stay at the Grand Botanicos because of its location close to the centre of Teruel and also due to having its own car park right in front of the hotel. In both cases we were very pleased, as we had a room on floor 5 that had a entrance door going right to the street leading to the city centre and the car park was viewed from our room window and was very secure and and excellent price of just €10 per day! Further upon entering our room we found it to be very well decorated, a first class bathroom and very comfortable bed for a very affordable price. Highly recommended.

For what we wanted from the hotel we achieved so there was nothing we did not like.

Lovely hotel, very clean. Friendly, helpful reception. Easy parking on site. Great access on the 5th floor to the town centre.

If you are elderly or have a disability avoid festival weekend which began on the 8th July in 2023. Hotel 5th floor access to the town gets boarded up which makes it difficult to get back into the hotel without a long walk or many steps. Majority of shop windows get boarded up this is all due to security which is alarming in itself. Vast crowds during the festival, although plenty of police, in our opinion, not safe.

A lovely hotel in a good location close to cafes and restaurants with views across gardens and open spaces. The room was superb very well appointed and very quiet. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and equipped very tastefully with no expense spared for furnishings and bedding. The staff we met were lovely very pleasant and very informative especially Nestor on reception. We had a really good breakfast in a super dining room catering for all tastes and the food was excellent. The cost osrk was secure but outside.

There was nothing to dislike at all. The only downside was the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant which was a great shame as I’m sure it would have been well subscribed if the breakfast was anything to go by. They do offer a room service but when we went out on a Sunday there weren’t many places open.

The reception staff were very helpful and the location was good. Parking was handy also though it cost €10 per night. I believe there may have been free parking nearby but it was extremely bad weather so we took the hotel car park. The proximity to the old town was good and there was plenty to see. There were plenty of restaurants also and it would be silly to dine in with so much going on in the town.

There was no bar worth talking about. There was no complimentary tea or coffee. The breakfast seemed expensive so we didn't bother. The room seemed quite dark even with all the lights on!!! Very poor soundproofing between the rooms also.

Very clean, comfortable hotel. Excellent location next to the Escaletta. Extremely friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us. Room and bathroom were modern and very spacious. Room service on our first night was excellent as was our breakfast the following morning. Staying on the 5th floor, we had easy access to the street leading to the historic quarter, restaurants and bars.

Bar was in the lobby next to the main entrance and reception desk.

Good location with on site parking and easy to access from main road. Decent size room. Reception very helpful including booking a restaurant for us.

Air conditioning in room poor with no means of setting our preferred temperature. Breakfast uninspiring and poor value for money.

It is a very nice hotel on the edge of the old city. Easy to find. On the 5th floor you walk straight into the old town. We got an upgrade to a room with a terrace. Beds, WiFi and breakfast are good. Parking is handy (next to the hotel) so you don´t have to search for a parking space. Friendly staff. All in all, we had a nice comfortable stay ;-)

Stayed with friends riding through Spain, Portugal and France on our motorbikes. Very pleasant overnight stay. Splendid city location, clean and tidy rooms, friendly and engaging staff, secure free bike parking decent breakfast too.. a short walk to the city centre for beer and dinner.. would happily return and recommend.
