Mediterraneo Sitges

The Hotel is close to the beach, the room has renovated kitchen and bathroom with good modern plumbing. We didn't travel with pets, but it is great that the hotel accepts them. Really nice and helpful staff Just a neutral hint for the others: the gates to the parking are 1.9m high, so keep it in mind when going to this hotel on your own car.

The apartment walls are slightly tired, and the common area on the floor doesn't look as one I expected to see in 4* hotel. But may be this is the hotel style - a little bit worn and sloppy. Not every elevator goes to the parking, you have to stop on 0th floor and change elevator if you weren't lucky on your floor. Horrible smell on the parking level.

the lobby smelled funky so it turned me off of it, and also wished we had hand soap in our room.

The apartment is well proportioned with a large balcony and sea views. It's well located for enjoying all that Sitges has to offer. The bed is comfortable and the air con means you can close the windows and it's very quiet at night.

Due to it's position, there is noise from traffic in the street during the day and also the hotel across the road has live music most days. This means you can't always enjoy sitting out on the balcony in the evenings if you're not into the music. But it was only for an hour or so in the evenings and was always finished by 10/11pm.

Huge rooms, aircon, cooking facilities, washing machine, large balcony(very quiet), free Wi-Fi, 100 yards from the sea, 3 different depth swimming pools for residents, cafe on ground floor next to reception ( similar to starbucks ~ £2 a coffee), three lifts to rooms, 5 min walk (not uphill) into heart of Sitges and local small supermarket (adequate for most purchases, larger one at train station, medium local ones in some back streets, no real need to pack toiletries (apatment had toiletries as well as free bottles of water in the fridge to get you started) simlar prices to UK (apart from sun screen). Bit of a walk ,if you want to use the hourly scheduled airport bus (no stops ~40 mins, 8 euros, easier than swapping trains with luggage I think. If you're coming via train I'd spend the 5-6 euros on a taxi outside the station and save hauling the suitcases on a hot day. Already going to book for next year. Bit pricey I thought initially, but you can cut back on eating out for one or two nights ( pizzas from RED BAR on an app are very good and deliver I think, KFC-like equivalent called Grand Pollo in the centre of Sitges 15 min walk (far superior tasting roast chicken and better chips) where you can easily have a meal for two at about 12 euros and a 4 euro bottle of wine from mini-supermarket around the corner) and eat before you go out (nothing starts until around 9pm at the earliest), and you can easily justify the cost of quite a luxurious and well thought out apart/hotel stay, by using local takeaways (yes there's a kebab shop as well, and they tasted good). You can expect to pay from 30-50 euros for a meal for two right up to 200 and beyond for the likes of Al Fresco or a show and a meal at about 100 euros for 2 at Queenz Showbar (was worth the money). Expect cocktails and drinks to be around the same price as uk (bigger measures though lol). Sitges is children friendly as all the local families eat out around 10-11pm.

Nothing

The cleanliness, no sounds from the neighbouring rooms (although from corridor everything came through the door), enough space for the family, modern decor, nice balcony with sea view, lovely staff in the lobby, nice restaurant for lunches, two pools. All good!

There was a limited space for sun beds near the pools. The cleaning staff came really late and usually always when we wanted to have an afternoon siesta around 4 or 5 PM… :/ Had to leave the room for the time they were there as there were always several cleaners at the same time. There were also a limited set of dishes and forks etc which meant having to wash them all the time for next use.

We were on the 6th floor with an ocean view, and it was amazing! Location is one block over from the central shopping area, so it was very central, but in a calm area. 10 min walk from train station. We could hear the ocean from the spacious balcony which was amazing ! Apartment was nice, AC worked great, lots of lights, refrigerator, oven, microwave and all the basics you need to cook food & wash up was available. There was 2 large waters in the fridge upon arrival which is always appreciated! Bathroom was also nice, with soaps from Rituals! Bedroom had a huge bed & closet! There was also a clothes washing machine in the room (didn’t use, but nice to have). Room can be cleaned each day, and they even did our dishes which was very kind! Super friendly staff working at the hotel! Wonderful customer service, both in person and over Booking before arrival! Will definitely be going back to this hotel!

The rooms could do with a deep clean, some dust in corners & on remotes etc. But not to the point where I felt the need to complain or felt uncomfortable staying in the apartment. The porch also had dirt/sand and dog hair from a previous guest that wasn’t fully wiped up.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our apartment in the main building was spacious, plenty of wardrobe space and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Underground car park at the apartment was €20 per day. The apartments are well located opposite the beach and a few minutes walk to the town centre. A safe key was provided on request, at no extra charge.

Having dropped a ring under the bed, I was surprised to find the floor VERY dusty as the rest of the apartment was spotlessly clean. Perhaps this is something the cleaner could check out!

Armchair in lounge needs replacement/reupholstery. More glasses in kitchen. Inhouse cafe is expensive.

Modern and comfortable apartment. Very good location. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Lovely view of the sunsets. Apartment faced the pool.

We were on the top floor and we felt that the height of the balustrade was too low. Noise from house keeping moving furniture in other apartments woke us up in the morning. No equipment for washing and drying dishes so had to go and buy some. Our patio door was broken but as we were so high up we didn’t worry about security. No English speaking channels on the TV but there were French and German. Very bright lights in the apartment at night-would have preferred some lamps.

The apartment was cool and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and looking out over the pool and the sea. The maid service was great. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the beach and the town but at a distance from the noisy bars and clubs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The air conditioning was difficult to figure out - it would be handy if you left an instruction manual in the apartment. The hairdryer in the bathroom only worked on 2-3 minute intervals. Other than that, everything was really good.
