Hotel Carmen

Excellent location, one street back from a large, sandy beach with restaurants only two minutes walk away. Despite central location, no night-time noise & hotel policy good idea, which is no rooms cleaned after 1pm, so able to rest up in the afternoon if need be as not disturbed. Also brilliant idea - free 24/7 drinking water & coffee available in the breakfast room. We were given two bottles of water when we arrived & able to top these up everyday to use when away from the hotel. Secure hotel parking used for a daily fee nearby in the next street, a little tight with the bays & caution needed when exiting up a ramp then onto the street. Able to drop cases when we pulled up at the hotel, narrow, but then got adequate instructions for the car park from reception. The breakfast staff are first class, smiling/cheerful with fresh eggs/bacon cooked to order with fresh coffee. Reception staff too very helpful & who acknowledged us with a greeting every time we went past the desk, which was nice.

The breakfast was great, 10/10. A big selection of meats and tasty cheese, tasty coffee and the softest and sweetest kiwi ever. And cava for feeling like on vacation! The managers even did the tomato pasta personally for me. Strong and stable wifi connection - I watched 3 hour movie without any connection interruption! The room was big enough, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It is warm in the room even in December, very good heating. Bathroom was big and clean, and the dryer was very rapid - i got my clothes dry in 2-3 hours max. The wardrobe is big and convenient, safe box also laptop friendly.

nice to have some luxury after 8 day walking trip. The staff were very helpful with places to eat in the area and things to see. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast plentiful.

The breakfast service could have been better but maybe there was difficulty getting more staff on board post Covid. The selection of food was amazing with fresh fruit, bread, ham, cheeses as well as cooked eggs and bacon offered.

The location was very centric, you can find a lot of free parking around. The staff very friendly and the bathroom has been recently renewed. The room overall is comfy.

The bed was too much soft and, being an internal room, the view was not great.

the staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Ingrid. the room was peaceful, cool and we enjoyed the terrace. the bed was comfortable and the huge bath is fantastic

the room could have been a bit lighter, I think maybe one light wasn’t working

The location was great and convenient very close to the beach. Had toiletries in the bathroom and a good few towels.

The toilet in our room didn't flush really well and there was stains on the little resting stools but overall quite clean

Idéal location barely 100 meters from the beach, lovely helpful staff who helped us with parking our motorbike. the room and the hotel are exceptionally clean. our room on the third floor was huge Iwith a private terrace

Great location, lovely breakfast and staff. It had secure parking.

Bit of a noisy road on one side of the building. But if you shut the window it is okay.

Reception staff were excellent. Rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Location was brilliant right by all the bars and restaurants and beach.

The location is great and near the beach and restaurants. Our room was super comfy and quiet. We were first scared as we had the room right at the elevator but the noise levels are totally fine. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff was friendly and polite. No complains at all
