Hotel Araxa - Adults Only

The Hotel is in a quiet street, with stylish design, clean and comfortable rooms, nice pool, gym. wellness. The bed was comfortable and room was equipped by a fridge, tea maker, terrace ... etc. AC and WIFI worked well, and the buffet breakfast is good. The location is close to the center and the Santa Catalina district, where many bars, restaurants can be found.

The garbage collection during the night was loud and the insulation of walls and door is not sufficient. The room cleaning should avoid siesta time.

Adults only is amazing and the pool was fantastic. For us the location was perfect as a young couple but if you were older you would need to taxi to town which should cost you 11euro or less. Great value massage 100% recommend. Book the private spa! The private spa was so underrated we got the best time every night because Noone else was using it, Use it!

The staff were a bit cold because we are not spanish. They warmed up over our stay but even so they did not make us feel especially welcome. Buying additional services like the massge the staff made me feel like it was a hassel instead of making us feel welcome and appreciated.

The area is fairly residential, about half an hour walk into the centre which means you do have to walk in for dinner every evening. The food in the restaurant is fairly basic but perfectly nice, but we did end up going into the town eat most of the time. The gym is good but for some reason has weirdly sexualised and sexist pictures of women in (complete with weird phrases printed on top). I would recommend the hotel remove those as it's quite unnecessary and uncomfortable.

There's loads to like about this hotel: - The swimming pool and garden are wonderful (although the pool is not heated!). - The rooms are a good size and perfectly clean. - The showers have good water pressure and hot water all the time. - The gym and spa area are both well equipped and clean, I had a sports massage while I was there which was great. - The breakfast was pretty decent, the usual continental buffet breakfast but all fresh and mostly tasty. Overall the hotel is a really pretty place, it's very green with lots of lovely plants both inside and out. The decor is quirky and suits the slightly old aesthetic of the building. All the staff speak at least a little English, but I would say they appreciate if you make a little effort to speak Spanish as well.

it was on the corner of two busy roads so our room was very noisy. I Waikiki imagine other rooms closer to the church would be quieter so mention this when you book

We had a first floor room overlooking the pond and it was fascinating listening to the frogs at night - okay that’s a bit weird, but they were funny! The gardens are very well looked after as well and after a busy walk around Palma, or day elsewhere this area was a little bit of tranquility. The hotel is kept very clean and we found all the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is fine with quite a lot to choose from and the snack menu is very reasonably priced. Overall, the ambience of the hotel is relaxing, and bearing in mind that Palma is a busy city, this is a lovely place to stay. Plus the sun loungers next to the pool are very comfortable. We stayed for a week and I’m pleased that we chose the Hotel Araxa.

Nothing, if I’m honest and nothing that I felt necessary to mention at the hotel. Having said this and bearing in mind that you can’t move a hotel, it is a bit hilly walking up and down to the city centre. On the other hand, the hotel will book a taxi, if you wish. Plus, we did a lot of walking around Palma and I lost weight without the need for a taxi in Palma!

The hotel is super clean. I was given a single room with a balcony; I really enjoyed to sit on the balcony late at night having a glass of wine. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The garden pool is awesome. Having breakfast and dinner outside overlooking the pool was amazing. The hotel is in a quiet location so it ideal especially if you want to relax after a busy day or you want to have a lazy day. The breakfast is awesome with freshly pressed orange juice. I had dinner there once and it was a delicious 3 course dinner. I used the gym too and it is clean and well equipped.

Excellent buffet breakfast and reasonably priced. Rooms spacious and I had balcony with garden and pool view. Good bar service and a restful and pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. Wonderful hotel staff.

I'm always a bit disappointed when Booking.com tell me 'this is what you will pay at the hotel' and the final bill (less extra expenses put on the room) is more Hotel is quite a walk from the centre of Palma but I knew that and it wasn't a problem at all, personally. A very good commercial area with a variety of restaurants, etc, near by.

Loved the welcoming aroma of insence as you enter the front door and tranquility of the pool area. Food was very good. Most (but not all) of the staff of the staff were smiley, friendly and welcoming.

Machine coffee for breakfast always cheapens the feel of a place but in particular the milk options for any of the coffee choices was so incredible sweet it was undrinkable. The option to order a barista coffee at the bar came with an additional charge despite having paid for breakfast.

I liked the choice of breakfast items, only would add dark grapes and watermelon, according to the season. Location - is great, as very peaceful.
