Hard Rock Hotel Marbella - Puerto Banús Adults Recommended

The location was perfect. Very close (walking distance) to Puerto Banus. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. The hotel is very customer service oriented - they check on you often to see if you need anything. The two pools were fantastic. The water was very cool and refreshing. The pools were not crowded at all, it was very easy to find sunbeds. Plenty of free parking spaces available to park your car if you want to rent one. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The balconies had a great view of the pools - and the best part is you can’t hear the dj by the pool when you have the window shut, so you are never disturbed when you need some peace and quiet.

The only negative was because it’s a new hotel, some taxis did not know where to go, however we found that if we said “next to Casino Marbella” they knew exactly where to go. Because we stayed so soon after they opened, some facilities and services were not available or fully running yet such as the late night room service.

Overall hotel look from the front and reception is very nice! Staff at check in/out and poolside were fab!! Both pool areas are very nice, poolside drink service was spot on! DJ playing at the pool area during the day was brilliant!! Wish we had spent more time at the pool area! Brilliant location! We only spotted the underground tunnel that takes you under the motorway and to the beach front on the last day! Will know for next time!

We should have upgraded to a pool side view. I think that side of the hotel would have been a better view! Slight sewage smell from the vent above the door as you walked into room.

Loved how clean and fresh the hotel is! The staff were fantastic and helpful. The ambience of the place is incredible given the memrobilia and classy feel.

Hotel isn't fully open yet, therefore atmosphere lacks a little. Once it's fully open it will be electric. Evening dinner, again due to not being fuly open felt a little dull and the limited menu was disappointing. I might be wrong but I didn't see that it wasn't fully open when booking on the site.

No showers available to use on the day you leave unfortunately. It was also a requirement to leave a deposit upon check in of €750 which wasn’t mentioned until you check in. It’s a pretty substantial deposit. It can be used to offset the price against drinks and food in the hotel but still it’s an expense you need to consider in the price.

Brand new hotel. Excellent service. Great pools. Lovely breakfast buffet. Located ideally 15mins walk from Puerto Banus and 5mins walk from the beach.

Some teething problems due to being their first day of opening. The AC wasn't working and took several calls to attend to the problem. Eventually we had to change rooms. They did however upgrade us to a room with a better view.

The staff were very attentive at all times and in all areas. The bedroom was a reasonable size, clean, well maintained and the large bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and in a great location along side the large swimming pool. The decor and Rock music vibe in the public areas was as I expected - very good.

The music played constantly at the swimming pool was a monotonous mix of various songs of different genres ( very little actual rock) blended with techo dance stuff by a DJ. I expected certain amount of this and although not to my taste, was prepared to put up with it. However, what I did not anticipate was that EVERY SONG, EVERY TUNE PLAYED all day long was blended with this DJ techno beat. Surely a little variety wouldn’t be too much to expect. Long live real rock music - the music played did not fit in with the rock vibe throughout the hotel, great guitars and star costumes etc.

All staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the pools. Pool areas are very clean and have a great variety of seating options. Lobby areas are comfortable and spacious. breakfast was excellent. There's a great variety of food and drinks options which can be brought to your seat at the pool.

Music at the pool starts playing at 8am. If balcony doors are closed then the sound is quite muffled but it does seem unnecessary starting the music at this time as the pools aren't even open yet. Deposit of 125 euro per night required. Day beds at the pool had to be paid for on certain days but it was not clear in advance which days these would be.

- A lovely slice of luxury! - 2 amazing pools - one was more party vibes and the other was more chilled which was nice so you could choose. The party pool wound down early eve. - Very modern interiors and everything was in great nick! - Fun bar in the lobby with live entertainment each night - Breakfast was delicious and had great opening hours and there was even live musicians playing whilst we were there! - The location was great and you could walk into central PB. It’s very very close to La Sala Restaurant. - There was a real mix of people there and different ages so it didn’t just feel like a party hotel

- To be expected, but it was noisy in the evenings with all the groups pre drinking before they went out! - The room was quite small but fine for a few days - The WiFi kept cutting out and wasn’t amazing for calls (I had to do some work) - The gym was pretty basic - only up to 14kg weights

Location is great, rooms are very comfy

Room service operates via app that you must download.. it was too hectic for me and ended up not ordering Wifi is very week inside the rooms
