Ibis Budget Madrid Vallecas

We stayed for 2 nights while driving down from benidom to santander to catch the ferry back to ireland with 2 dogs and wanting to break up the journey and see madrid the location was perfect because the metro took us straight into the heart of madrid withing 20 minutes, so we didn't have to drive because we weren't that confident driving in big cities, The hotel welcomes dogs and for a budget hotel it was great ,clean, friendly staff with supermarket across the road and a big park to walk the dogs its really was a great pitstop for us, we will definitely stay here again on the long drive back down through spain

+ breakfast for 7€ is a good deal + shower and waterpressure + room looks new and clean + receptionists speak english + location: for my purpose was ok

- - automatic light in the toilet switch off after 3 seconds. That was really annoying. And the door closes too if you dont block it with your shoes or luggage. - no power socket next to the bed - noise from the corridor and a bit from the street but able to cancel with earplugs - bed shakes when the neighbours close their doors - location: if you want to do sightseeing and you are without private transportation you dont want to stay here

Room: as expected of Ibis. We slept comfortably so it's okay for us. Asked one of the receptionist the quickest way to metro Sierra Guadalupe, and her advised was walk for about 20 minutes o_o. The hotel can be reached by bus no130 from behind Sierra Guadalupe station, get off at Hormigueras Mirevate and walk around 5 minutes to hotel. Laundromat in hostal Welcome right across the hotel.

Electric kettle in the room for hot drink in winter? The toilet is separated from the bathroom, which is not very comfortable for us. Breakfast: we only ate 1 time, the grapes are not fresh

Lodging. The room is not so spacious but it is not uncomfortable, the bed is very comfortable and pleasant. I have no complaints, everything was great. I stayed 2 nights. Location. It is quite far from the center of Madrid, but nearby is the bus station that takes you to the metro. Therefore it is easy to get to the center. Meal. There are restaurants nearby. But at the hotel they offer a buffet at a cost of €7.5. They serve cereals, bread, ham, cheese, coffee, chocolate, oranges, fruits.

Excellent value. Very clean. Delightful staff. No frills and not in a touristy part of town, but a good location for my needs.

For me it was great - but this is a no frills hotel. It's in an industrial park and not very close to the metro. But if you need a good, clean comfortable place with very friendly staff....this is great. Don't expect to walk to any tourist attractions, but there is an Aldi and Burger King within walking distance.

The place itself is quite nice. It's a budget hotel so of course it's nothing fancy but it was still a nice place and the staff were super nice!

The location. It's a bit in the middle of nowhere if you don't have a car, otherwise it's ok. (In my case it was a booking that failed to tell me how far away it was from the conference I had to attend)

The hotel is excellent, all clean, good beds, the location is far from the city center but is very well connected with public transportation, the bus lives you two blocks from the hotel.

There where other guests that were doing a lot of noise all the night long and i could not sleep. Not the fault of the hotel though

Comfortable, clean place with garage parking available. Check-in was easy, and the staff seemed nice.

The bathroom has a spring loaded door that swings closed, even when you do not want it to. There is not enough space, so the door kept bumping me on the head when I was cleaning myself.

The staff is very friendly and helping. For its price, the quality of the facilities is superb.

It's not their fault, they can't do anything about it, but the location can be challenging if you decide to arrive at night. We had to walk in two occasions 24 minutes from the closest underground/train station.

There was cleaning service every day. Cheap indoor parking space. The staff was very friendly and polite. Especially, Agata was very helpful with an issue I had.

The room was smelling a bit. There was no soundproof in the room and especially in the toilet. There was no fridge and telephone in the room.
