Bed and Chic

The location is great - just a 5 - 10 minute walk to the main beach which is AMAZING. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the little kitchen area is really useful. Bed is very comfy! We tend to go when the carnival is on and it can be really noisy but closing the windows stops most of the noise and its generally all over by about 11pm - 12pm. There are restuarants below but tbh we like the noise and the hub-bub. The number 60 bus takes you direct to and from the airport and is only about £3 pp. its a good location, small and boutique kind of little hotel.

They are under new management which is fine and the chap on reception was lovely, but we were a little suprised that the room wasn't cleaned. The room was lovely and clean and tidy when we arrived and we stayed for 4 nights but still a little suprised that the room wasn;t cleaned. Not a big issue just a little suprised.

We stayed 4 nights in a junior suite on the first floor very large room nicely furnished. Three large windows top or side opening, looking out on to Santa Catalina Square, trees and gardens right outside your window and amazing location. Memory foam mattress and pillow very comfortable. Had a small kitchen we made our breakfast and dinner. Lots of places to eat near by and Spar or hyperdino supermarkets. Stayed here before and would come again.

The ground floor is occupied by cafes/bars so background noise of people. Cafe closes at 12.30 am they then DRAG the tables and chairs inside only to drag them all out again in the morning. I think on balance the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

We were in a room at the terrace. The terrace is shared but it was quiet and it is a very nice place. It's at walking distance from the beach, public transport to the city centre & airport and there are bars, cafés and supermarkets nearby. Very nice & helpful recepcionist. It is good value for money.

There were no views to the beach, but that's not too bad. I had a contact number 24/7, but reception closes at 2 pm. The area is not too scary or unsafe, but I wouldn't like it alone at night if I had travelled alone.

Our hotel had a plumbing problem and we were moved to another property managed by the same people. Amber, the manager was superb and the new property was an upgrade (for no additional cost) but at a slightly less convenient location, since we chose Bed & Chic to be closest to the cruise terminal.

There was no breakfast option at the new location, but that will probably be changing. Also, the room rates are higher there than Bed & Chic (although we didn’t have to pay the difference).

We'd last been to this little hotel about 3 or 4 years ago and it was just as good!! Its a great little hotel in a good location. We had the junior suite and the room size and facilities were great. Really comfortable stay. Couldn't ask for more. You can easily get the bus to and from the hotel to the airport - cost for 2 people is 6 euros. You can also easily get the bus to Masapalomas and Puerto del Mogan so easy to get raound. Go and visit the nearby aquariam as well!

Not anyhting that the hotel could do but our room was at the front and it was very noisy outside on the saturday night but nothing really to complain about and it didn't ruin our stay.

We have been goind for many years and that still make us feel so welcome, the staff are first class nothing too much trouble, the rooms are spot on and top marks for cleanliness, and the situation of the hotel has every you need across from the bus terminal, taxi rank, round the corner from the beach, and you have santa catalina Park with bars and restaurants when you step out of the hotel.

The TV can never get anything but news, in English, think a music channel would be nice, but having said that we would not go anywhere else,

Location of the hotel could not have been better, right next to Catalina park and not far from the Canteras beach. We have stayed by the beach earlier much preferred this, it is easier to explore the small streets off the beach. We had a room on the upmost floor and had a terrace connected to the communal roof terrace of the hotel. We had not ordered breakfast from the hotel, and loved to have our breakfast (from the Spar nearby) on the terrace while answering e-mails and reading the morning newspaper via internet. Hotel internet worked well enough to watch a football game via own laptop.

The small bathroom was clean but lacked hooks for the towels (only two for four towels). There was no space to keep your bathroom stuff, but this was not a major problem because the kitchen worktop and shelf were near. A low bench to keep the suitcase open on would have been helpful, also.

Rooms are nice, bright and clean. Comfortable bedding. Located at walking distance from the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars.

There is no reception after 14:00!. So you can't leave your luggage in the hotel. We had a late flight, so this was very unpleasant. Wouldn't have booked this hotel, if I had known this upfront. Noisy early in the morning.

Nice hotel in good place. Few minutes walk to the seaside. There are many restaurants, pubs and shops near the hotel. The room was big and very tidy. The beds were comfortable and big.

City service transport starts the work early. They clean the streets and collects the trash loudly so if you open the window it will be noisy in the room.

Location is perfect, close to everything. The room is well equipped and clean.

A bit noisy at night as there are restaurants nearby especially on Fridays and Saturdays but it's acceptable as the sound proof system is quite ok. I think the phenomenon is ok as everyone is on holiday.
