Hotel Mar Blau

The hotel is in a perfect place! Everything is near, but not in the center, it wasn't noisy. The room was okay, the bed was quite comfy. The food was wonderful. The pool was clean and quite big. The jacuzzi in the roof was superb!

The hotel service is wonderful, I only can advise 1-2 small things, to make it even better. -They were very kind, when we wasn't in the hotel at lunchtime, they packed take away food, what wasn't fine. I asked if we could get a salad, or something left from the last day dinner, but they didn't want to change the "protocol". -There could have been more kind of vegetables at breakfast (there was icesalad and tomato everyday). -We were in full board meal, water could have been added normally, and only pay for the other drinks.

The staff were always paying attention to everything, and they were really nice. Other guests were really nice as well. The pool is big and they've got enough pool beds for everyone. The variety of food in meals is also a big plus.

During meals, the staff was always looking for to pickup your plate, some times you would even have food in your mouth and they would be asking if you had finished already.

Overall value of this hotel is great. The available breakfast and diners are nice with a wide variety of choices, however the starting time is quite late (normal in Spain). Also on the advertisements it said that the drinks where included with diner, but they were not. The hotel is close to some clubs where music is played till loud, so expect to need earplugs for sleeping. In summary a great relaxing stay.

One day we left towels next to swimming pool and had to go to our room as we forgot something, when we returned the towels were thrown in pile near the pool by the waiter though half of sun beds next to the pool were empty and we were told if we need to go to our room from the pool we have to report the personnel, so they do not throw away our towels.

Staff very nice, breakfast was good & varied. I was there for the Ironman & they allowed bikes in the rooms and put on early breakfast on raceday.

The lock didn’t work on our patio door. Reported at 3.30pm but it wasn’t fixed until mid morning following day & then the patio door was left open. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard like a board & not great for leading up to an Ironman.

Very clean hotel, evening entertainment, nice and clean pool, good food, 10 min walk from the beach, possibility to book a parking place in advance, good value for money

Some coffee making facilities in the rooms would be nice

Lovely hotel . Close to beach and lots of places in walking distance . Staff very professional and patient . This is our 4th time to stay here and always feel welcome .

Good hotel, clean and well run,nice quiet location but at same time just a few hundred metres from restaurants and beach. Large supermarket 100m away. Was in town for an Ironman event, hotel provided full breakfast buffet at 05:00 for the people attending the event. Would recommend hotel.

Everything, nice staff, super clean and every day room make up, perfect breakfast, nice swimming pool & jacuzzi. I wold like to give 4* for the hotel services and staff.

Been here 3 times. Very clean . Lovely staff. Particularly all the waiters . They were all very professional, courteous and patient . They deserve a really good review . Take time to get to know third staff members. Thanks to all.
