Dormirdcine Alicante

Nicely renovated with crisp white rooms, funky bathrooms despite the small size of the rooms. Liked the cinema theme so each room was a bit different. Super clean and helpful staff.

It was very hot during our stay and the air conditioning seemed to not be able to keep up, plus the fan on high was noisy. But it was tolerable, definitely better than no air conditioning.

Decor of rooms and hotel. Lovely Sun terrace, location, cleanliness, staff and movie theme. Mega choice of restaurants around and extremely good transport links within easy walk. Quality of coffee at breakfast.

Breakfast buffet cold items were very good, although cereal containers were miniature as were the serving bowls. Hot items were very limited. Scrambled eggs were available but a frugal amount put out at any one time. Had to basically scrape the bottom of the hot server container each morning to get a small portion. Sausages were " mini" and on one morning (out of three) no sausages nor warm ham was available. Swimming pool not practicle for "swimming" if more than one person wanted to swim. Basically was a tub to stand in and cool off.

Beautifully themed hotel, very modern and clean. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel well situated in the old town close to beach and local restaurants. Excellent buffet breakfast for €12 and lovely restaurant area.

The main negative for us was lack of storage in the room. Plenty of hanging space but no drawers or even hooks in bathroom. Just had to pile things up on chairs or leave things in suitcases. Other than that room was very comfortable, great beds, bathroom and quiet. There was no bar open whilst we were there, maybe a seasonal thing. Rooftop pool was open and lovely rooftop relaxing area, pity nothing else open.

An exciting adventure of a hotel with world's best receptionists and management who did their best to fulfill every need or request i had during my 4 days stay. It really felt like home to be there - soundproof rooms, extravagant interior design, amazing smell and quality of body care products and the hotell itself, and not to mention its amazing location in the heart of everything - Postiguet beach, Old city, restaurants, etc. Will absolutely come back there should i travel to Alicante once more. :)

Breakfast might have been more varied but generally it is just enough for an adult person.

Very clean comfortable double room with balcony.. Great location. Great friendly service. Quiet even though we faced the street. Lovely balcony to chill out on, glad we opted for it. Nice rooftop terrace. Nespresso machine in lounge made good coffee. Free water and a snack in room when arrived which was welcoming.

Breakfast was average. Too many sweets, not enough hot food selection. Nespresso machine only available during breakfast, not at any other time. Tea and coffee and creamer sachets in room nowhere near enough and odd selection, we had to go out and buy our own.

The staff is just wonderful. Reception staff was incredibly kind and helpful, no matter who was working there when I passed by. The cleaning staff was friendly and did a very thorough cleaning in my room every single day. Very clean hotel, and the roof was just amazing and offered great views. The location was also perfect. I stayed in a twin room which was great for me! The bed and shower was so nice.

Breakfast was mediocre to be honest, which is the only negative. I only paid for breakfast the day of arrival and departure for convenience, so I still rate this place 10/10!

Really close to the sea front/beach/port and drop off for the C6 bus to/from the airport (Plaza Puerto del Mar). The decor was something a little bit different to your standard hotel and that was a nice bonus (and why we chose it in the first place). Close enough to all the restaurants/bars/shops but also far enough away that it wasn’t noisy at any point of the day. Really lovely hotel !! We chose the superior room (after reading reviews) and definitely would recommend it as it had lots of space in the room for both of us and our luggage. Lots of little bits in the room which was a nice added touch (e.g. vanity set, comb, toothbrush sets, hairdryer, sewing kit).

Pool wasn’t heated so couldn’t use it during our stay (February).

A modern hotel parallel to the Postiguet beach and the Boulevard with several restaurants and supermarkets. Bus C6 (busline from Alicante airport to the centre) stops at the boulevard at 5 min walk to the hotel. Tickets u can buy at the busdriver (3,40 euro for a one way tickets in 2022) The main street with shops & boutiques starts at only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We had lunch/ dinner at nice restaurants. The first restaurant, El gosto del Gourmet is right in front of the hotel and just around the corner you will find La Crispeta restaurant. The rooms are not that big but perfect for 2 persons.Modern rooms, Nice beds, shower with shampoo/douchegel, airco, big flatscreen with Netflix etc. Fridge in the room. Daily cleaning service. A window which opened with view on the street. We did not had breakfast at the hotel. As this is a central area with lots of bakeries, coffeeshops, restaurants. The swimming pool was really small with a high stair. It's more as a refreshement/splash on a sunny hot day or to play for kids.

The hotel is quirky, in a good location and staff were in generally very efficient and helpful. The bedrooms a resoanble size, but all facilities within work well. The roof top pool during the day and the rooftop bar are OK.

More an observation than a dislike, but the pool on the rooftop, becasue of the surface area of the hotel, it is narrow and really not suitable for more than one person swimming. More a plunge pool! The space is limited on the roof and therefore the token few deckchairs and a couple of umbrellas are not sufficent if you have 6 or more people. Also the bar is not open until the evening. There are no facilities for drinks and food during the day after breakfast.

Perfect location, choice of comfy pillows, comfortable bed, good WiFi and TV with 3 English channels+YouTube and Netflix. Good air-conditioning too, I enjoyed staying there.

The only thing I was missing was a kettle in the room. Also, despite what I read in one of the reviews, there was no tea/ coffee facilities available downstairs- I did ask the reception, so perhaps it changed since someone wrote that review. The cleaning is a bit rough - there was some fluff in the corner of the bathroom for the duration of my stay.
