Really nice room and very clean. Pleasant staff. We stayed Sunday night so the adjoining cafeteria only served a limited menu. But, luckily, they did serve alcohol. Great service by the older member of staff in the cafe (no disrespect intended - I’m probably older than him!) Great location if you fancy a walk up to the castle ruins where you’ll find great views of the surrounding area. The things I didn’t like are a bit picky. No problem in recommending this hotel.

Checkin was a bit fraught as the rooms weren’t ready and I could see there was a bit of juggling to find another 2 rooms. The underground garage could do with an accessible light switch - unpacking a motorcycle takes a few minutes and the lights are on a time switch - the only way I could find to turn the lights on again was to open the main door! No aircon in the rooms - we were told it was not needed at this location - we stayed at the start of July and it wasn’t a problem - just saying!

Very well located hotel, next to all attractions. Reasonably priced. Rooms are large (and in fact, larger than in the description).

Breakfast is a bit of a jungle. It is served in a cafeteria which is mixed guests/non guests, and you have to order at the bar and bring your food to the table. As you would expect in Spain (I am Spanish!), queuing is optional, so only the cheeky win :) The hotel is OK but needs to upgrade the rooms, corridors, etc. It has a bit of a 1970s feel.

This was a stop-over on our way south. What a find, very reasonable price, staff helpful, even though they had little English and we have little Spanish 🙄. Hotel is typically Spanish in a good way. They do a Menu del dia in their restaurant, fab value. This place was so good we booked for our return journey, next time we'll do the same. The town was lovely too, all round an amazing discovery.

Not a negative thing to say, loved it.

Had a good one night stopover at this place, nice spot, used it for our first night in Spain after Santander ferry, had a nice evening stroll around the town which is very nice, pity we didn’t have more time at this place, breakfast was good, would definitely use again if in the area.

Nothing.

Very pleasant staff who were all approachable and extremely helpful, rooms very clean, hotel and grounds well kept. I’d recommend booking parking thou as spaces around the hotel are hard to come by.

Maybe some of guidance as to how to order at breakfast, which was slightly busy but once we’d spoken to a member of staff who’d seen us standing there looking lost it was easy. If you can speak good Spanish you wouldn’t have an issue.

Stayed here before en route to Santander and not disappointed again. Excellent location for travel by car. The town is very picturesque and we didn't stay long enought to do it justice. Plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is worth a visit and the 13 euros 3 course menu was excellent. Restaurant service was fantastic. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast and sufficient for our needs. We will definitely be staying again

Whilst the underground car park (7 euros) was a good idea and gave peace of mind, it was very tight and not many spaces. If you have a small car then probably OK but ours took a bit of careful parking. With that in mind we would not use the car park again and rely on the nearby street parking. By the way the underground car park is not sign posted (its down a ramp to the left of the hotel) and you need to visit reception first to have the room card validated for the garage so you can open the automatic garage door. Also be aware that the lights in the garage are timed so you don't have long to vacate the garage. There is a switch to turn them back on so make sure you have a torch.

the room was comfortable and clean. Being situated near the lift is a bonus if you have much luggage. Breakfast can be had in the attached cafe and dinner in the restaurant, which gives a 10% discount for those staying in the hotel. Aguilar de Campo is a pretty town with some nice nooks and crannys to explore but whether the walk up to the castle is worth it. My knees did not think so!

There was nothing I disliked.

A great stopover hotel between Murcia and Santander. Lovely town with great walks and picturesque buildings. Plenty of bars in the town but we ate in the hotel which was fab. Lovely choice on the menu. Will definitely stay here again.

The garage was difficult to get into and also no direct way into the hotel. We had to unload and load our luggage in front of the hotel as you cannot access reception from inside the garage. Good price to use, though.

Very close to the motorway and just 1 1/4 hours from Santander. Very busy as has cafe and bar used by everyone. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Dining room didn't open until 9pm but plenty of choice in the Menu of the Day, €14 including bread, water and a bottle of wine. Secure underground parking which should be booked in advance. Will stay there again.

Nothing at all.
