Stay Hotel Gangnam

The bed was super comfy and the room pretty clean, equiped with a big smart TV. There was a mini fridge with complementary bottles of water, plus coffee and tea bags by the desk, refilled everyday. You can find a set of bathrobes, towels, a pair of slippers in your room with extra amenities in the bathroom. Since we're in South Korea, the wifi in the hotel was also fast. It was super convenient to move around. The closest metro station or 7/11 are less than 2 min walking distance from the hotel. You'd find many restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

There is only one lift which can be a bit problematic during rush hours. Also, I received a call, regarding house keeping, from the front desk despite being on DND which came as a surprise. I had to explain several times that they could clean the room later since I was resting. Besides that, everything was good.

1. There is no holder in the sink so I cannot put the soap or toothbrush, etc. 2. I hope this good hotel has carpet, but it does not. 3. I waited elevator too long because hotel has only 1 elevator for 13 floors. 4. I cannot see good view outside the window. It is blocked by a building.

The room was exactly as pictured online, so I got what I paid for. I enjoyed the giant bath tub and all the other amenities functioned properly. Very convenient location with lots of restaurants around, and close to all major forms of transportation. The staff was also very nice.

They only give you one room key and it was a bit of a hassle getting a new one when I thought I locked mine in my room. They held 10 dollars cash from me as collateral for the new key, which wasn't a problem since I ended up finding the original shortly after, but it was just a bit of a strange interaction. Regardless, the staff was very nice about it, but I think most other hotels give multiple keys as a standard to begin with.

The location was good, staff was great in assistance. Room was always clean after cleaning. No disturbance around the room during sleep time.

There was no early check-in, or paid early check-in option though for example in other hotel it was for free if there is any room available. It would be helpful to have a table for bag, that is usually available in hotels. In bath room due to absence of glass cover a water splashes to the floor and it becomes wet all around the bathroom and there is no hangs inside of bathroom and you can not hang your towel of clothes.

The front desk staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. There are good restaurants and coffee shops all around the hotel. The internet is good. I like the quiet, calm and dignified atmosphere of this hotel.

If you get a regular superior room the bathroom sink is poorly configured where there is no ledge to put your soap or toothbrush. I had to put my soap in a glass and put in the sink... This is a weird aspect of this hotel that I can't understand because otherwise everything else is on point. My workaround to that is to pay a little extra for a suite room which has a better set up where there is still no ledge but at least a functional equivalent around knee high.

The location is the best! Really near Yeoksam station exit no.3 and it’s easy to take the airport bus at exit no.4. There’s a lot of restaurants around there. Also, it’s not far from the Gangnam main street. You can walk there! The staff is helpful and kind. The room lights are dim like other reviews said but not that dim. The bed is so comfy.

On my stay, the cafe under hotel is closed. If it open must be great.

lack of counter top space, room appears very spacious on website photo due to full wall mirror. But room is small. No shower curtain. No personal safe in room, no microwave.

extremely clean and prime location for shopping! the room was huge and very well equipped. the cleaning was outstanding! every day was a deep cleaning and I loved it!

it was my first time in Seoul and I didn’t know where most of the touristy attractions were so I thought that Gangnam was a good location but it’s more for party, drinks and shopping that for the old attractions. however I loved everything

Staff at the front desk has always been available, polite and helpful (e.g. when the tv was not working and for any other need we have had during the stay). Our room has been cleaned with care daily. We have had a beautiful experience in Seoul and at the hotel. We recommend the hotel and we will definitely come back!

The room has a separated work place from the bedroom. Great and very confortable when you want to check your emails. The Housekeeping employees are very kind and effective. Awesome location near the Yeoksam station!

Not so easy to get access to the taxi as they are not coming at the front door.
