Pacific Hotel

The room is spacious and we are in luck to received room with namsan tower view. The staff cleans our rooms everyday and it is spotless. For muslim, the rooms have big space for our solat and halal restaurant is just a foot steps away. Myeondong station exit 3 and myeondong market are just in front of the hotel.

Customer service was exceptional. Especially wanted to conmend Douglas who was very helpful in giving advice on our plans for hiking at Mt Bukhansan and even went the extra mile to give clear directions to the cab driver to ensure that we were brought to the right place.

The air conditioning. There were 2 nights that the air conditioner was off and the room temperature was at 26 degrees which was very warm and it affected our sleep. Called the reception to request to lower the temperature but was told that it was central system and they off the air conditioning as other guests were complaining of the cold. Was asked to open the window instead which provided little relief.

location was excellent! Myeongdong station at doorstep, airport limousine bus stops just outside, Myeongdong shopping street across the road. it’s a very convenient location. 2 mini mart at doorstep too. Plus point is that KLOOK tour pickup is also just outside the hotel, 2 mins walk.

it’s a rather old hotel, exterior is nothing to shout about. But the rooms are very comfortable, clean and fairly modern,

The room was very clean, modern and well lit. There were plenty of power points. The location is in Myeongdong and very convenient to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The light switches were a bit difficult to locate - they are in the alarm clock by the bed.

The location of Pacific hotel was very good, within a stone's throw to Myeongdong Shopping street and it has eateries/cafes around it. It's easy to find places to eat/drink for any time of the time. Not to mention, the famous Namsam Tower is just behind it. Hence, it is very convenient to hang around the area or head out to different parts of Seoul, as the subway station is just location outside the hotel. Also, there is an airport bus stop across the street, thus making it super convenient to arrive/get to Incheon Airport. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free travel.

Felt the property's front desk staff could feel a bit more welcoming, the entire atmosphere felt a bit tense upon arriving. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Easy access to the subway and close to some of the tourist attractions in the area (night market, Myeongdong Cathedral, Namsan underground shopping, and large shopping complex - Lotte, Shinsegae, etc). Namsan Tower is also walking distance from the hotel. Good customer service - very helpful. Stayed for nine days, and the room was cleaned every day and bottles of water provided daily.

Room is a bit small. This is a suggestion based on our experience. We found it difficult to find the hotel as it is not located on the main road. Perhaps signages at the bus stop would help, especially if arriving at night. While the name is lit at night, it is not visible from certain areas. Perhaps you can put instructions on how to get to the hotel if coming by bus or by train on your website.

My third time staying at Pacific Hotel, and it remains my go-to hotel in Seoul! It's conveniently located in front of Myeongdong station, yet away from the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong night market across the street. A no-frills, comfortable stay; the staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I left my massive luggage with them for about a week while I was travelling around Korea before checking back into Pacific Hotel, and they managed that without any issues. Highly recommended!

The location was fabulous--in a central location, yet off the main street a bit. I stayed for two weeks and chose this place because I heard the staff was great and I was hoping to have a quiet, clean place to stay every night. The woman that cleaned the room was so thoughtful working around my schedule and making sure I had waters, towels, etc. I also sent out my laundry several times and it comes back within a day perfectly cleaned and folded. Taxis were also arranged daily.

In a very strategic location. 2min walk from Myeongdong Exit 3 or 2 (with escalator). Friendly staff and 3mins to airport bus stop. $17k bus fare from Myeongdong to Incheon Airport. Bus timetable advised by the hotel was outdated. Best to check for updated timing and info at the airport bus stop.

2 convenience stores nearby but both not 24hr. Unable to use the room's air con as staff told us that the hotel uses a central conditioning. Staff claimed that there are feedbacks that it was cold so they off the building air-con. they then asked us to open the window for the cold autumn air. lol that works fine but just find it absurd. No smart TV. Not a fan of the room size as there wasn't sufficient space to open 2 large luggages fully. Toilet was also relatively small, although with bathtub.
