Parksunshine Jeju

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of Seogwipo. Our room had a balcony overlooking orange farms, and was really cosy. Many plugs and usb ports for east charging. The bathroom was excellent with a tub, shampoo and soaps, and a Japanese style toilet with bidet and all that jazz. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, with an understandable standard of English. There was a convenience store just by the hotel, for snacks or last minute necessities.

It was a bit far from the main areas (market, shops) and other sites of interest, so one had to walk around 20 minutes or so to get to town or take a bus at the bus stop by the main road. But perhaps that’s what you get in exchange for a truly peaceful night! There were not many food options around either, especially for breakfast. There was a cute fried chicken shop nearby and a cafe that served food, but they only opened relatively late at 9am or later.

Best showerhead we have ever found in a hotel. The water flow was so gentle and soft! We actually asked the hotel staff if they knew what brand it was as we wanted to buy one for our home. Unfortunately, they didn't know. Great location, really close to Chonjiyeon Falls, Odeolgae rock, and some other sights. CU (convenience store) literally walking distance from the parking lot. Breakfast was 15k won but had a lot of different options. Worth it if you plan to have a heavy brunch. Note: highly recommend for travelers who are renting a car as we didn't notice too many bus stops nearby.

The mattresses were too soft for my brother. Hotel tried to accommodate a request for something harder as best as they could.

Exceeded our expectations with renovations of rooms looking newer than expected and value for money. For the price we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of hotel. Overall vibe of exterior and interior of the hotel was new and modern looking, comfortable. Simple hotel but can't complain given the price. Plenty of parking spots available. Good location which was close to attractions near Seogwipo, and not bad to use as a base to travel between west and east sides of the island.

No facilities, but again can't really complain given the price.

Location of Park Sunshine is walking distance to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall and Oedolgae Rock. Oedolgae is beautiful especially in the evening. Saeyeongyo is also nearby which one can walk across to Saeseom island. Take airport limousine bus 600, alight at Saetgigeong Park and take taxi to Park Sunshine. Hotel front desk staff Mr Kim is very helpful and patient. He helped us to call and talk to the taxi co for a day trip when i mentioned to him i couldn't call through the tel no. He also took time to explain how to get to Mt Hallasan as we don't drive. Superb service!

Hotels in Jeju generally do not have a local site map in English of nearby places. It will be good to have one as foreign tourist will not miss some interesting places that could be near to the hotel.

Awesome location! Close to waterfalls and town where you can find lots of good restaurants within 20 minute walking distance. The staff was very nice and had a comfortable bed. Plenty of parking and a very nice view of mount Hallsan.

AC is turned off between 10pm and 6am. If you like to sleep in a cool room like me, this might be a bit annoying. They do inform this at check-in but I don't recall seeing this on the hotel description here, otherwise I would've stayed somewhere else. That's the only deal breaker, the rest was great!

We arrived a day later than we originally planned because of a change of schedule. Even though the communication was a little bit difficult everything was perfectly handled by the very friendly staff. The hotel is very new and the rooms are quite spacious and clean. The air conditioning works well and there is a terrace on the roof from where you have a very nice view of Hallasan when its not too cloudy. The Cheonjiyeon waterfall and Oedolgae are very close and I highly recommend going. Even though it is not central there also some nice small restaurants around.

There are no real beaches near the Hotel. The connection to busses is also not ideal, but ok for most purposes and taxis aren't expensive in Korea either.

Modern hotel in quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast (extra fee, but can also be booked on a daily basis). Plenty of parking space.

Room was quite warm (thermostat showed 25-26 centigrade) and setting the temp to the minimum (20) did not have any effect. Fortunately the window could be opened for so e fresh air. Location is a bit remote but waking to the Olle market ist still feasible in about 15 minutes.

The breakfast selection was wide with international selection to local selection. The menu changes daily and food are fresh. Room was good size and beds are comfortable. Being a new hotel, the facilities are good. The view is good as well, and you can get nice sunrise pics at the rooftop. There is a small convenient store, a 5mins walk away. So it was convenient to stock up on drinks and snacks before we head off for the day's activities.

No major issues. The service at the front desk was polite and adequate. We were hoping to receive friendlier service.

1. auto flush toilet was perfectly calibrated 2. quiet and you get really good sleep 3. plentiful parking space 4 good location which a healthy person can easily walk to the main area of food/ shops 5. toiletries were nice snelling

Staff was simply not up to par. 1. could not help with any recommendations for food. another one said I had to pay to get an extra bed sheet!!!! I can't sleep with the duvet as room is too hot for me so that seriously pissed me off. I ended up removing the duvet from its cover and using the latter.

Hotel is located near the tourist attraction, it is a nice hotel with rooms over looking the hallasan.

The hotel bill you for a day pre-payment 1 day before checking in. After checking in, the hotel bill you for the whole duration of your stay and void the payment for the 1 day pre-payment. It has been 5 days and the void payment is still not credited back to my card. Not sure if it is the hotel or the credit card company's fault though.
