The Room was good value. The aircon didn't work well on heat mode. Need extra channels on the TV. Water needs to be warmer in winter as it was luke warm for a hot shower. Dinner was good, and your service was good. Did not have breakfast. Road needs to be sorted out as there are very dangerous potholes.
You are doing great. Would stay there again if coming on business or for a short getaway.

The quietness and the fact that it was far from noise of cars but only birds melody, which was the type of vacation I needed. The staff were friendly, smiley and hardworking. I must say,I was treated like a queen. Bar man always checking up my glass for refill. Manager doing management by walking asking clients about rooms, food . No interference from anyone as everyone was minding own business. The SPA completed my beautiful weekend.Receptionist doing her best with charging us what we were owing, Chefs, the food,t bone nice Nd tasty. I didn't even struggle to hv pictures taken by everyone was available to assist. Birthday cake Nd the singing reminded me that birthdays are to be celebrated. I was the queen of the moment Nd have regretted to not staying until valentine's day. It will do me wonders as a single woman to get sponsored by being the guest of honour to celebrate love amongst couples. I am happy and will definitely go back and have already gave reference to many that admired the pictures. Thank You Coach House management and staff.
As a first timer, I really didn't find anything wrong Rooms were clean,Aircon Nd TV working, Food delicious, staff great, spa tops, pools clean. Nothing to complain about

I booked the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package which was a significant help at the end of a long day of work and travel. The room was extremely spacious with a lovely verandah to sit and watch the sunset over the mountains. An exceptionally large and comfortable King size bed, and a large shower in one of the two bathrooms in my suite. The hotel staff were excellent from arrival to departure and could not do enough to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction, even insisting on moving my dinner table to ensure I had the best view of the stars in the night sky.
A very nice breakfast. Unfortunately, I had to leave early, and everything was still being prepared when I got to the restaurant, so I am sure I missed some of the other particularly good breakfast items.

Our stay at the Coach House Hotel and Spa was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were simply amazing! From Amos, the doorman with self-professed "wheels on his feet and wings on his back" to assist us with anything we need, to the reception staff and service staff. A special shout-out to the Food and Beverage Manager, Sean, who greeted us so warmly every morning at breakfast and took care of our every need, and Takelani, the barman with a big smile. Blessing, the GM manages her staff and serves her guests with tremendous grace. Our room was simply gorgeous with breathtaking views and the facilities and food was wonderful. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back.
Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfectly on point!

Excellent breakfast, and the rooms were quite spacious, and the kids ( 3) enjoyed their own room with three beds, which was great. The spa was great, and the kids enjoyed the surroundings, and the 8 and 6-year-old enjoyed riding the Checkers scooters all around. The place is very relaxing and peaceful, I liked that a lot.
The road from Tzaneen is ok, until the last 3km which has potholes that have the potential to get worse and pose serious risks to travelers. The road to Nkowankowa was terrible and dangerous with potholes. Therefore, to travel from Nkowankowa to Coach House, I had to go via Tzaneen, which was not ideal. The dinner on 18 December took too long, over an hour after the order. Therefore, the next day we decided not to have dinner at the hotel but to drive to Tzaneen for dinner.

This is our (my wife and I) second time at Coach House and we enjoyed each of the 4 nights we spent at the hotel. We come to Coach House for peace and to unwind from the chaos in Joburg; this place gives us a relaxing feeling. We had time to reflect in the spacious rooms (plus the whole hotel) with the balcony giving us that extra space to plan our next steps in life. Our room had double bathrooms, the first with a tab and the second with a shower, which afforded us peace when we needed to use the facilities (the tab and shower :-) ). We had a wonderful bonding time while enjoying the meals at the ever-ready restaurants. Because we booked towards the end of winter, we requested assistance to start the wood-burning fire (we didn't have a lighter or fire starters), and the friendly staff member came to help in under 3 minutes. Those cosy evenings made us not only enjoy the fire but also play card games while seated in the wingback chairs. The generator was always switched on to allow for the presence of electricity even when the power from the national supplier had been cut (load shedding). The internet has a good connection that one could use for work purposes or even stream any events. From the rooms, security of your vehicle, food, tranquil surroundings, and the ever-smiling staff members, this place deserves your visit to enjoy for yourself. South Africa winter time is the best to be here but even when we stayed during spring, we didn't regret anything and were even happy not to switch on the air conditioner.
Nothing.

The welcome from the security at gate, the welcome and check in from Chipo/Tariro at reception (cannot recall her name). The special welcome from the Manager. She took it upon herself to come and greet us, despite that we had already been welcomed warmly by Chipo/Tariro at reception. I requested that room 1 be converted to a Queen bed, and the Reception lady was very quick to pass on the request to the cleaning lady. The entire staff was very friendly and made us feel so at home. The bar man showed a load of experience and when I asked him how he makes his Stillworks, he was very welcome to assure me that he will make it the way I want. The Waiters and Waitresses were all smiles and always running around for us. on the 20th March, we went in after 10h30 for breakfast. By the time I wanted to prepare a cup of rooibos, it was finished. The waitress went out of her way to go elsewhere to get me a tea bag. The 3 of us went back for a 2nd glass of juice but it was all packed away. Again the Waitress went to the kitchen and refilled our glasses. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals, the beef and rusty fries were amazing. We couldn't get enough of the Trout as it was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the view, scenery and as much as I personally had no time for the pool, my friends had excellent things to say about it. The running/walking trail was God sent and I ennjoyed warming up in the evening.
I suggest that the linen should include a flat sheet on the bed, or it should be packed away separately in the closet. It was very hot the past weekend, covering yourself with a duvet made it worse as it is too thick. The AC was working properly, I ended up using it throughout the night but it was producing a squeaky noise that was not comfortable. I suggest the laundry bags should be readily available in the bathrooms. However, when I requested some, the cleaning lady, she attended to the request with a smile and immediately.

Everything went well. The room was big and the garden and mountain view was out of this world. I loved how the Saturday dinner was served, it was braai at the swimming pool with some music. I also loved the fact that they listen to the views of the customer. We requested that in the future they need to add some mince or chicken livers to the breakfast menu and the following day we found the chicken livers on the menu. They really made our day.
We wished we could have gotten a room next to the parking lot it was gonna make things easier for us but will make sure we indicate indicate that in future now that we know the place. Please serve fresh bread next time.

Loved our room, we were upgraded to a King Suite which was beautiful and the views were stunning. Lovely old style decor and furniture, loads of character and comfy beds and linens. We were on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast stay and could order off the A-la-Carte menu, great variety, thank you.
A hair dryer in the room, although I am sure Reception would have organised same if we had asked in advance. The restaurant menu seems a little outdated and we would have loved to see some seasonal/local items, eg the Trout is brought in from Jo'burg; perhaps there are local farms/producers to supply fresh? All-in-all though the meals were tasty and well prepared & presented

The room are spacious and well equiped to make you feel at home in your secondary coubtryside house style. The hotel is quaint and cosy
Breakfast was nit bad but you can't get a Cappuccino, and expresso or a bottle if water at breakfast because they do not have access to the bar which open at 10 am... Weird for a nice hotel. It feels like that hotel needs a bit of love. Gardens and walk way need to be cleaned and the spa area need to be better indicated and cleaned (old cupboard full of all product and dust) it looks good but when you look in details it is a bit neglected. No possibility to get a massage for two persons as there is only one girl working at the spa.
