A very peaceful and serene place with a nice staff and value-for-money amenities. A very unique experience. The reception ladies are very nice and the location is very top-notch

They do not allow cannabis smoking in the premises which is silly because cannabis is legal in SA. To have a smoke you have to go outside the premises. You are not even allowed to find a secluded spot (there are many of them on the premises) to have a smoke. They also did not inform me in advance that the WiFi was going to be down on the day i checked in. However, it was back up the next day

The quietness and easy accessibility to the venue.

The is less outside light visible on the passages to the rooms,even though there are lots of trees and roots. If u don't have a torch. You many trip and fall. And also the direction Map to the rooms from the parking is not in order. Our room was ok. The bathroom is too small(very small) and the shower did not have a complete door, and the shower drain and Basin drain was not working properly. My partner and I could not share a shower. Or be in the bathroom at the same time.

From the moment you step into the gate, you are transformed to another world. One filled with calmness and serenity. Staff are super friendly and helpful. There are so many private seating areas where you can wind down and relax after a tough day. The rooms are immaculate, clean and very stylish, but makes you feel at home. The gardens are magically amazing with so many special little nooks and crannies. The Cafe is the perfect place to end off your day with a scrumptious meal and something to drink. Its the most beautiful, mesmorising venue filled with lights, a fireplace and most amazing pizza oven. The waiter goes above and beyond and really ensures that he fullfills his clients wishes. Food is extremely fresh and delicious! Communication is quick and effective. Definitely a winning team running this guesthouse!

Exceptionally clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. They assisted us with our late arrival after our flight was delayed and we arrived 2-hours after check-in had closed and we could leave our baggage at front desk while we attended our meetings after we had already checked out. They will be our dedicated guest house for future corporate travels.

If I had to nit-pick two things, I would have liked more coffee and milk sachets. Travelling for work means late nights preparing for meetings, I had to split a sachet between the evening and morning. The other small issue was the light in the area with a mirror was faulty, so it flickered continuously. This made getting dressed for my meetings (including hair and make-up) a tad more difficult. I ended up using the bedside lamp.

Load-shedding - no back-up power at night, but noticed there was back-up power in the morning Consider sharing/alerting customers of the load-shedding schedule for the area during check-in- just to make sure phones are charged before power goes off

Regular clients would expect being allocated in nice rooms despite their race, colour or creed ?

New staff need further training on customer care . Restaurant closes a kettle bit earlier . 10:00pm is not bad and adding more of African dishes would be diversifying the restaurant to cater for the needs of different clients .

I went to the venue with the aim of finishing off an exam submission. I was able to do exactly that. The room was very cozy and had all a nice kitchen for coffee and tea. The TV was available. Bed comfortable. Very neat and cozy place. It felt like I was out of Pretoria with the green - it was like I was in a botanical garden.

The location is just perfect, Quiet and public transport just around the corner. I enjoyed the food at the Cafe. I received good service from my waitress I just don't remember her name. I loved how easy and quick check-in was. I visited with my partner and our 8 months old daughter, the staff was very nice, fond of my daughter and even offered to take pictures of us. The place is so clean and safe. I love love this guesthouse and will visit again soon . Thank you !!

It's difficult to write what I specifically liked in such a small space, I'll write a blog about it and share the link - but it was exceptional 😊 will definitely be coming again

I didn't like the fact that I had to leave 😂

It was quiet and there is a restaurant on the premises so need to drive into town to get something to eat. The linen was clean and room smelled nicely and enough blankets were given for the almost winter time.

The shower head needs checking the water is not spayed evenly, although the room was quiet the lights makes the room very light inside therefor struggled to sleep not dark enough. I would make a suggestion to keep milk in the room those small parmalat boxes not all likes cremora.
