The Cape Milner

The hotel from start to finish was amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and chatty. They are always on hand to help if you need them. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic - plenty of choice in a lovely restaurant. The pool area was very nice. Bar/restaurant for drinks/lunch was lovely. Room was spacious with plenty of space & having a fridge was great too. View looking out to table mountain is fabulous. Great location with short Uber rides to all the key locations. We had an absolutely amazing holiday and I would visit again and recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends.

Supper was exceptionally good and well-priced. Your cocktail's is also exceptional and your bar staff well trained. You can have more coffee in the room, and I expected a filled mini bar. Otherwise, it was super, very clean and your cushions is fabulous.

Breakfast was ok - would have like fresh baked eggs sunny side up or someone that at least offered it to me, and someone coffee as I arrived, you can have more regular looks if food is available at the buffet and not have empty bay marines. Honey pot was empty and also the granola. Was not refiled in the 45 minutes I had breakfast.

The check in staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless and the linen on the bed and towels are stunning quality along with Charlotte Rhys toiletries which are a nice touch. The room was spacious and had everything needed. My stay included breakfast -which was great

The check out staff weren't as friendly as check in and the front desk lady called 10 minutes after check out time to ask what time I planned to leave. I have never stayed at hotel who rushed me out of a room. When I asked if I could use the hotel pool etc for a while longer she said yes but didn't seem keen Most hotels do not mind you using their facilities on the day of check out.

Property is great, have a great view of the mountain and very nice part of capetown. quick , neat and clean with a comfy room

the property all of a sudden is starting to get pricing lately. not sure if they are on new management but seem to charge for everything they can. two night on apoun check out they wanted to charge for parking. nearly R50 a night ( I get this but not when you have stayed many times before and they now add it into the idea at the end with out any notice or pre alerts) this isn’t Europe and as we all know in RSA parking is essential. keep it relaxed for the locals and many will return

Such a great price for this hotel! Central location (happy to walk around in daylight and ubers in evening - standard in most areas of Cape Town). As there aren't too many images of the standard queen rooms online, we were unsure what to expect. But room was better than imagined. More modern. Big comfy bed, nice amount of space for 'room only' - bathroom was nice and bigger than thought. Very clean room and lovely staff. Overall very happy to find a nice place at such good value in the heart of Cape Town!

Only suggestion would be a slightly larger mini bar fridge that has a small top freezer section in case wanting ice or to freeze water bottles for days out / beach etc.

The location of the property is fantastic and very closely situated around a neighbourhood full of bars and restaurants. the room itself is quite spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and clean linen. we had a view of the Lion’s Head, so that was definitely a bonus! The staff were courteous and hospitable. We had breakfast included in our deal and the breakfast spread was great and the servers were very helpful!

Honestly I don’t have any complaints. If I really had to point out to something, I’d say that I wish we had some kind of concierge service to help us with our luggage since we had a lot of bags to carry but we managed!

Lovely location , very central, friendly helpful staff. Amazing bed linen and fantastic pillows. Great deep bath ....maybe a little to deep ....bathroom fixtures some pulling out of the wall and need reattaching.

Hate the television set up, limited channels and no way for me to connect and stream on my own personal streaming channels despite the fact that there is clearly a Netflix button and option available.

This hotel is not very big. Best part of this hotel is location. Its centrally located and most of city tourist spots are in the surrounding area however hotel is not in crowded area. Rooms are spacious and neat & clean. Breakfast has limited options compare to big hotels. Cape Town is very windy and cold... so be ready with appropriate cloths.

Check in- i received a warm welcome upon arrival, that's when i knew i will enjoy my stay The location was perfect, i was close to most of the activities i wanted to do The room was perfect, i had no issues during my stay Breakfast was just ok
