I liked the room, which had comfortable beds. And the daily cleaning was appreciated. The fact that electricty was provided without much disruption from load shedding was certainly very convenient.

The wifi was a bit slow sometimes and the card keys kept failing and had to be reissued. There wasn't much option for snacks or chocolates and no plastic laundry bag to pack away dirty laundry for travel.

From the moment we entered at the security gate, we were met with a friendly smile and greeting. At the reception the lady who assisted us, was friendly and helpful. Thr room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. The crisp linen, pillows and duvet was a good quality. The location was good. A peaceful, restful and comfortable stay.

I asked for a face cloth and was told it costs R25. This was ridiculous. This should never be charged. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room.

A little bit of maintenance required (some doors don’t open / close properly, for example), but nothing that would prevent me from recommending the hotel. The smokers area just outside the entrance door to the rooms is not ideal because you need to walk through it to go to your room - the smokers area should preferably be isolated to a different location at the hotel.

The room service was prompt and I really enjoyed my dinner. The porters are very hands on and I'd like to thank them for their hospitality.

There's nothing that I didn't like. Everything went satisfactorily well.

The breakfast was very good. The coffee could have been stronger.

The treatment in the dining room was poor. The young lady I addressed to orient me at breakfast was condescending and confrontational. I was taken quite by surprise.and the experience left a ‘bitter taste in my mouth’ (that pun was irresistible!) They say familiarity breeds contempt. A little more consideration for first time visitors/guests, and the key to hospitality- some courtesy.

Breakfast was very good. staff very friendly. from reception to the staff in the dining area. There was ample and safe parking.

There is no gymn at such a big hotel.

The room was very spacious and relaxing. The breakfast was great, a nice buffet menu.

There was something wrong with the beds. We were itching through the night. I booked 2 x rooms, the other guest had the similar problem. I suspect bed bugs. Besides that the stay was great.

We never had breakfast or any other food at the hotel but we did order drinks and the price was very high for this but i was told it is normal in the hotel industry to pay that much. the room was very nice and the bed was amazing i wish i could have taken it home with me. staff are excellent and always friendly and helpful.
