Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway, an IHG Hotel

I really enjoyed my short stay , the staff were AMAZING , abdullah the reception employee was very very welcoming and kind he offered us an upgrade which was PERFECT the room was great and i LOVED how quite and clean it is , they care about the smallest detail the bed smelled GREAT and fresh which i deeply appreciate in a hotel , the location was convenient and it was an easy access , i really appreciate how they care about their customers and customer services called me to insure i had the best stay . appreciate every single staff member so kind and helpful . they gained a customer for life .

I booked late and arrived early for a short daytime stay during a long layover between flights. Despite my early arrival, the very kind and professional front desk staff went out of their way to make me and my kids feel welcome. More than the room upgrade (which was wonderful), it was the little touches like the very warm reception they gave my young sons, who had just arrived after long international travel that really set the experience apart. The gentleman who helped us with our bags was also extremely welcoming. It was the personal touches to what could have been just a generic transaction that makes this place one I would recommend to any fellow traveler. Thanks.

Excellent property with great facilities and the best staff I have ever met in a hotel. The staff all the way from Mr Nawaf in reception to Mr Yahya in the restaurant simply makes the hotel a joy to stay in. This makes Holiday Inn Jeddah one of the best places you could stay in and highly recommend visiting. Important side note, the shawarma and kebab they serve in their rooftop restaurant is simply out of this world! Highly recommended.

Mr. Ahmed Alghamdi from reception is a great person who value the customers well treat and very professional in handling question he is very qualified and mostly he assist all time thank you Mr Ahmed from front desk

In the room few things old - bathroom water not strong enough - little late clean the room but all are minor things can be solved quick

Staff in the reception center was very good, professional and helpful during my check in process. He has good PR with very fluent English. Unfortunately I forgot his name. Your hotel provides really good foods during iftar and sahur. I really loves all the foods from the rice, beef, chicken, pasta, dessert, and drinks. I also want to give compliment to the cafe staff name Mr. Yasser for his kindness to allow me to take some food(sambusa) to my room as I like them very much. Honestly this is the best sambosa i ever had.

During my iftar buffet, I went down a bit late and I couldn‘t find empty table. No staff approached me at that time, I was roaming around for about 5-10 minutes, until I saw 1 staff in the full black or blue black suit and I asked him about the empty table. Unfortunately, he answer me in an impolite way and that make me feels sad and frustrated. However, I was able to get my table after that.

We knew the Holiday Inn would be promising and we were confident in choosing it for our stay. We had the best sleep because the beds are sooo comfortable! The rooms are super spacious, it’s close to the airport which was perfect since we just needed a place to stay after Umrah and before our flight the next morning. The entire staff was so kind and we were very appreciative of them.

Very comfy hotel, pleasant and very helpful personnel which solved our early check-in as fast as possible in spite of full capacity. Tasty breakfast combination of local and continental food.

In the middle of nowhere. Closest shopping or food out of hotel means walking aside 5 lane road without pedestrian walk. Lack of service at the Cafe on the roof at pool.

Breakfast was amazing with a great variety. Sleeping arrangements and room were nice and spacious. Room Service food was also good quality. Staff were also quite helpful from check in to check out.

The bathroom was lacking ventilation and showers without door meant that the water would either spray the whole bathroom, including the door, causing it to mould or the head needed to be pointed at the wall making it difficult to shower.

Great bed, supper cool room, clean bathroom. Plenty of free water, easy check in. Walking distance to Arabian Mall, which is great as you wont get fleeced by a taxi! What you expect form Holiday Inn.

Hotel offered a shuttle to Airport, this was not available, hotel taxi 100 RYL, ( last hotel asked 160 AED) rip off, therefore organized taxi from high street at 50 RYL, which should be a 20 RYL trip, always feel ripped off. This should not be necessary at 4.30 in the morning.

The location for my purposes was ideal. Breakfast was good

I arrived at 3 am and wanted room service but no one picked although it was 24/7. Later reception said they had too many orders. This is not right. They should still take the call and then apologize or say it will take too much time.
