Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

Love the whole feel and design of the resort, especially it is pet friendly. Great holiday vibe when turning into the hotel entrance.Furthermore, the carpark is free. We were given 2 complimentary drinks while waiting for the room to be ready. Hotel staffs were friendly and patient. Grateful to be able to celebrate my sis' bachelorette party at the Suite. Thank you to the hotel staff, Anne, who managed to upgrade for us. The living room and bedroom were spacious for the dogs to roam around. There was mosquito repellent provided as there will be mosquitoes at the carpark area. Breakfast buffet was great, we enjoyed it.

Had to wait about an hour for room to be ready even though we checked in after 3pm. Hotel a little away from sentosa grill fest at siloso so best to drive over. Tried to walk there but had to turn back as it started raining. Kwee Zeen is under staff i guess, the staff were not very attentive to us when we attempted to have dinner there.

Everything was good. Hotel is getting a bit old, so do not expect the quality of a 5 star recent brand new hotel. But still does the job.

Some dust in the room, hotel is a bit old, cant compare to very modern 5 start hotel. Shower pression was a bit light.

That is doesn't cater for Muslims , you have a few restaurants on the property maybe include a halal one, just a suggestion as it will draw a lot more tourists..

Ideally located resort-style motel. Just a short walk down the stairs (133 steps) to the beach and easy access to the range of Sentosa amenities. The pool is fabulous and the pool staff are outstanding. There are numerous cabanas, umbrellas and seats and we had complimentary iced water served whilst lazing in the sun. The buffet breakfast has plenty of options with coffee and food aplenty. I prefer to have breakfast incorporated into the room cost as I consider it a touch expensive at around $60 AUD per person.

There is currently a lot of building activity right next door to the Sofitel. The noise from construction of a new motel (rumoured to be a Raffles villa-type resort) interfered with the usual serenity. Next time, I'll ask for a room away from the boundary to eliminate any intrusion.

We really enjoyed the stay with you at the Sofitel. The ambiance and atmosphere in the entire resort is very relaxed. It absolutely superseded our expectations. The resort is surrounded by nature and you can "touch" the greenery from you lunch / dinner table, the peacocks will bring your a brief visit at the table :-) The breakfast buffet is very good, with an overload of choice of great food. Also the Italian restaurant - The Cliff - was suburb, with excellent service by the personnel. Ideal is the 'backdoor' to the Sentosa beach - a 5 min walk and you can enjoy sun, sea and the beach. The room is excellent, quiet and clean. Thank you very much for these great facilities on our staycation.

slow drinks service and bar staff were not experienced at all. Cliff restaurant has gone downhill as no longer fine dining Italian we were expecting.

Staff are very friendly and service was great. it has a resort feel. Bed was very comfortable. At the poolside, the waiter was very nice to prepare cups of cold lemon water for us to enjoy when we get out of pool. The shuttle service to Harbour front was convenient and punctual. We also enjoyed the complimentary bicycle rental. Felt very relaxed and rested throughout. A good alternative to short overseas trip. Will definitely come back again if I’m doing a staycation in Sentosa.

The pool is divided into 3 parts with 1 part being 1.4m and the rest at 2.5m. The 1.4m part is pretty limited if there are more people. it was ok for our stay as we were alone most of the time cos it was off peak period but can imagine it’ll be crowded during peak period. Whilst the gym has quite a good array of equipments, it’s upkeep could have been better. Gym equipments had some missing parts for the adjustment of weights and the pulse checker for some cardio machine does not seem to be working properly.

The room was elegantly decorated. Love how there is a bath tub and a shower. We love the phrase “I am singing in the rain” on the frosted glass panel in the shower! The receptionists Ann, Justin & Wai Wai etc. were excellent in coming up with solutions to meet our needs during the stay. Though I was initially overcharged for laundry services, Justin and Wai Wai responsibly followed it up and corrected the error. The buffet breakfast was a great everyday treat for the kids. They ate so much as everything was delicious! The concierge staff including Allan and a few others made us warmly welcomed and efficiently transferred our suitcases to and from our room at the beginning and the end of the stay. I was very distressed because I was half an hour late for my massage appointment and my taxi driver and I couldn’t locate So Spa. The friendly concierge staff quickly gave my taxi driver some clear and concise instructions such that we got there within minutes. My children had so much giggles and laughter as they had their first pedicure by the fish pond. They had a ball swimming in the pool too! Such fond memories they had! And thank you Mr Life Guard for keeping them safe while I was busy packing suitcases and getting ready to check out on the last day of our stay!
