Villa Montaña Beach Resort

Breakfast was spectacular.

I think there is no privacy between rooms. The balcony does not have any privacy with the neighbor, just a lattice fence in between. You can see everything. And you can hear everything from the neighbors. Needs a little TLC. The window knobs were broke. The bathroom door was a little broke. And the tv has on and off sound. Otherwise it was excellent but for the price one expect it to be in accordance of what you paid.

Location was amazing. Staff is very friendly. The beach loungers were an amazing plus.

Two things:. 1. We had an issue with plumbing on our last night with black water backing up into the common area and the inability to flush a toilet or drain a shower. We were able to change rooms fortunately, however, this was our last night and we had to push back our dinner reservation so we could pack and relocate. While it's not the hotel's fault, some complimentary drinks at least (for the inconvenience and foul odor) would've been appropriate I think. 2. For the price of the room, I would've liked if breakfast and coffee were provided at the restaurant (ie one complimentary breakfast entree and drink each day)

Safe, clean, and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, right on the beach! The room was like a full two bedroom apartment with a nice deck overlooking the grounds. Very relaxing and beautiful. The Eclipse restaurant had amazing, height quality food! All interactions with staff were professional and pleasant. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

The birds were loud early in the morning and they sounded like they were right next to us. They are a natural alarm clock!

The resort is beautiful with very friendly and helpful staff. Our villa was very spacious and comfortable with just a 2 minute walk to the beach, pools, and restaurant. The restaurant was amazing with delicious food and a beautiful open-air space with a view of the beach. We loved taking advantage of the beach cabanas and complementary snorkeling equipment. We rented a car for the trip which allowed us to explore Isabela with it's great beachfront bars & restaurants that are no more than 10 minutes away.

Walls are pretty thin in the villas so you are definitely going to hear anyone around you.

the property was beautiful , the restaurant made wonderful cocktails and the food was delicious. The private beach for the resort was easily accessible to the one swimming pool. There is a second swimming pool that is by the tennis courts. Very beautiful grounds and staff

The Room described in the Booking.com was not accurate, so we were disappointed that we did not have a garden to sit and walk to the beach. The room was a third floor unit with no elevator and did have a balcony and not as close to the beach.

The location was great with a good beach and snorkeling beach on the property. The pools were great and the property was well maintained and clean. The gym was nice to have and renting snorkeling and tennis gear was easy.

You did need an access code for the gym/pool that was changed every day so had to keep returning to the front desk. Bikes were great to rent but it was too bad we weren't able to take them off the property. The tennis court wasn't grass like the pictures showed but still nice.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food and staff at the restaurant are outstanding. We ate there twice for breakfast and dinner and once for lunch. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly.

The only thing we didn’t care for was the beach bonfire that we purchased. The sticks for the s’mores were small wooden skewers less than 12 inches long. We were unable to roast the marshmallows because the fire was too hot to get close enough to with the short skewers.

The tranquility in the facility's

There was not a TV in the bedroom and that was a issue for my spouse. Is screaming for updates in furniture. There was also a weeding and to be not able to use the restaurants facility was not a good experience, we had to make reservation out of the facility and that was not in our plans .We plan to celebrate our anniversary dinner at the restaurant.

the property is perfectly manicured and you can tell they pay attention to details. The staff is helpful and helped store my groceries while we waited for the room. the inside of the rooms are so nice and very comfortable. perfect for large family gatherings! The restaurant Eclipse on site had amazing food and had a great pool for the kids to swim in. the homes are all 2 stories so it’s charming and not overwhelming with large bldgs or crowds. go to Uma’s on the Beach 2 miles down and learn to surf with Premier Tropical Surf School. we had si much fun the 1st day, we came back for a 2nd full day!

Property was so close to the beach and on site restaurant was amazing making it super convenient with no need to leave the resort. Complementary beach cabanas along with beach chairs and umbrellas provided. Beach was never crowded and staff was very helpful. Pools were beautiful and clean.

Loved the location and atmosphere but the night frogs and insects were a bit noisy making sleep a bit difficult some nights.
