Quinta Colina by Shiadu

The diversity of food for breakfast was amazing and the staff was more than welcoming, available to provide the most efficient recommendations of transport and restaurants with good food and available 24/7, smiling all the time. Also, the location was pretty central with almost 10 minutes of walking towards Praca Martim Moniz and pretty close to the 28e line. As for the cleanness of the place, there's no question about it as the place is always clean (the cleaning ladies are doing a really great job), the beds and the towels are always white and no bad sheets on the bed (no marks of dirt, not even the smallest). Fun fact about how hospitable and kind are the ladies from the cleaning: I left one of my shirts tossed in the room and when coming in the night from the city, I found it folded and left on my backpack (nobody does that for anybody except this place, it was a really pleasant surprise). We also were greeted with free stuff such as a small bottle of red wine, a bottle of still water and 2 small candies. As for a midnight snack, the dining room was open and awaited us with fresh fruits such as bananas, apples and oranges with a large jug of water that had lemon inside. Make sure to ask for a free map of the Lisbon from the reception, they will kindly provide any answers to your questions. Also, the view from the 5th floor is amazing by day and by night, showing the bright Lisbon in its all beauty. Make sure to stay the same, we will come back in a few months to you :)

EVERYTHING about this place was fabulous, friendly staff always ready to help make our stay perfect, the breakfast display they put together every morning is delicious with so much variety, fresh squeezed orange juice and a 24 hrs coffee machine to make your own cappuccinos, lattes, tea we absolutely enjoyed the stay here and would highly recommended to anyone looking for a good clean and well managed place, with some amazing views of the city from their rooftop and for us our bedroom had an incredible view as well.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Quinta Colina. The bedroom was full of character and kept beautifully clean each day. The staff, especially Denis and Gonçalo, were so friendly and really helpful whenever we asked any questions. The hotel also offered a fantastic buffet breakfast each morning which was a wonderful extra. Fully recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

It would have been helpful to have slightly more storage room for clothes, but given the arrangement of the room it was very understandable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had issues with the guests above us due to them stomping around at early hours of the morning and late hours of night all 4 days we stayed. The staff were nice enough to make attempts to address the issue. The honesty bar and 24/7 coffee bar were a nice touch. The property is on a well lit street. There was a large variety for breakfast to include various Portuguese pastries. The property is also within a 15 minute walking distance to a few main squares, shops, cafes, etc.

The city in general is extremely hilly, so to get from the hotel to points of interests you have to walk up/down many steep hills and stairs. The bathroom was way too small. The door opens inward and doesn’t allow room to move as you open it so it makes it difficult to maneuver. It was tolerable, but extremely annoying. Though I liked the variety of breakfast options, some of the pastries and quiche should’ve been warm, but they were served cold which didn’t make them tasty and enjoyable.

Breakfast was amazing, the room was clean' we had view of the city, service reception kitchen cleaning get 10 plus which is rear to achieve. There was free coffee and fruits all day available for free. Free water at the room plus welcome red wine. The decoration was fine mixed with old and modern elements and terrace was nice.

At night you need Uber or taxi to return due to its position, high on the hill. But Uber is cheap enough in Lisbon to use it all the time, instead of public transport. And the piping system was noisy, but that could be only in my room. Otherwise I would have given more than 9, as the rest were more than what expected in correlation with price.

Fabulous place, staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations for food and places to see, location is great, breakfast is amazing, balcony provided to all is great for a lovely relaxing view. Room and bathroom are perfect. My only regret is not having stayed longer. Thank you all for a brilliant stay.

Nothing. Location is up a hill if you are walking home in evening from centre, but most places in Lisbon are, so not an issue. Small price to pay for the fantastic breakfast buffet and beautiful facilities!

Delicious Breakfast with local food and lovable personnel they asked how was my sleeping, they even remember my name and have a good small talk with guests. They have good choice of tea and even loose tea to make tea by my own(take teaspoon put tea to the tea infuser and add boiling water) adorable. Room has old stylish walls and probably marble on walls floor. Recommend travel out of season to get a huge discount for a room.

That is just suggestion not complain. Light and bulbs especially bulbs in night lamps should be lighter, let's say 2000-3000 lumens. Then will be perfect. But that is only opinion man who is addicted from strong bulbs in home.

I was very grateful for this hotel since I was travelling solo and got sick while I was there. All of the staff were extremely kind and considerate! They willingly helped with anything I needed. The hotel was absolutely lovely and it was nice to have the terrace on days I didn't feel like going out. Breakfast had so many lovely options and gave me a chance to try local foods. I love that tea and coffee are available throughout the day. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and cozy.

It was at a top of a hill, but this is no surprise in Lisbon. I would stay here again without question.

The room was comfortable, hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options. Roof terrace was a nice place to have breakfast or watch sunset in the evening. Also had a great view of the city. The location was not far from the centre, but the climb back may be a problem for some. Although, lisbon is hilly everywhere, so that is to be expected. If you had any questions, I was helped with the young woman at the reception with mine and she was very kind too. There was another very helpful woman at the reception and the women responsible for breakfast were quick to help as well. Sorry I don't know all of your names.

The cleaning could be a bit better and breakfast could use some vegan options, there weren't many. The food tags need to be checked properly to avoid feeding a vegan meat. But the hotel was a good one nevertheless. One criticism I can write is for booking.com and not for the hotel, booking.com charged me around 50 euros more per night than what the hotel charged on their website if you booked directly. Now, of course, it's my bad I didn't check properly before reserving the room, I will be more careful with the prices offered by booking.com in the future.

The room, eventhough it was a superior room, was quite small (narrow). The double bed was only 140cm wide.
