Fabulous location in the Old City in a historic building. We could walk to everywhere it seemed. We were provided a large apartment for family, the most spacious accommodations on our three country trip to Europe. Staff were friendly and service oriented. I accidentally left my phone and Jahid shipped my phone to me in the USA. I am forever grateful. I look forward to my return to Le Consulat!
We loved the convenience of the location. The Staff was very friendly and trustworthy. Our apartment had two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen with dinning area and a den/living room. A great place to stay in Lisbon.

The location was fantastic and a lot of attraction were a short walk away. The famous 28 tram also stops literally right outside the hotel's front door! The hotel bar had a nice buzz and atmosphere and we would have happily spent more time there, if it wasn't closed for a private event on one of the nights. Excellent hotel.
The airport shuttle is very overpriced. The driver was great and the journey was terrific, but it costs 35 Euros when you can get an Uber for as little as 8 Euros for the same trip - if the price was slightly inflated I wouldn't have as much of an issue, but it was a little frustrating to learn we paid almost 4x as much for this.

We loved the location on the beautiful plaza of the Chiada district. The hotel was so cool! They left the original features of the Brazilian Consulate - the old wood floors, staircase, plaster moldings, etc. but by far the best part was Pedro who checked us in and made suggestions throughout our stay either in person at the desk or through updates by What’s App.
We weren’t affected on the 3rd floor, but our friends who were on the 2nd floor could hear the noise from the 1st level bar during the night. Ask for a high floor!

The staff couldn't have been nicer, more genuine or more attentive. Without exception, all interactions were great. We loved our beautiful and comfortable suite looking onto the square. We had a great breakfast and enjoyed an evening drink in the bar. The rooms warmed up nicely for the evening. The showers were excellent, with beautiful bathroom products, towels and robes.
The decor of the bar/dining area I feel could be more in keeping with the elegance of the building itself. However, I do undersand it and this is just a personal comfort issue. This renovation in other ways, is quite the masterpiece from the beautiful windows and doors to the sleek mid-century comfortable furniture. This is the most pleasing hotel we have ever stayed at. We were awed. Thank you.

I hate to even rate this place because I feel like it's such an undiscovered gem. Each room is unique and comfortable and gorgeous in its own way. Extremely tastefully decorated and beautiful views.
It's bairro alto so even with the very good windows and shutters it can get noisy. I was also surprised that my room did not come with facial tissue or a laundry bag, but maybe that's because I only stayed one night (this time)? There is also only one full-sized gel body/ hair product in the shower, so if you specifically need shampoo or conditioner, you'll have to bring it with.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Location was prime real estate within close walking distance of great bars and restaurants in the Barrio Alto area. Our room was amazing, partially thanks to a surprise upgrade but all facilities seemed beautiful and well kept.
We had some challenges with the outlets and power connectivity in our room. There was no real view to speak of from our room, but that comes with the territory of being in a densely populated area!

From the moment we arrived I knew I had made the right choice having looked at numerous hotels and apartments in Lisbon. Joana was warm and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. We had two rooms and both were huge, comfortable and had real individual character and interesting art. We were well looked after at breakfast with a selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, fruit, pancakes and eggs each day along with orange juice squeezed seconds before serving. Abi was so kind and friendly had all of the staff seemed to really want to do a good job and make your stay as relaxing as possible.
We only went to the hotel bar on one night out of seven. The bar seems to be run by a collective called Rove who are linked to surfing. On our visit the service and drinks were fine however there was a disjointed atmosphere with a group of people linked to the collective at one end and the guests.. just the two of us at the other. Seeing the neighbouring bars so busy and the hotel bar so empty at the weekend seems like a lost opportunity for the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was lovely, had a view over the square and it was clean and comfortable. We had a small fridge which was replenished daily with water and soft drinks FOC. The bar area was very pleasant, lovely staff and we enjoyed some food there as well which was very tasty.
Only negative was it was quite noisy at night time due to hotel location and the tram stop was just outside our bedroom window. We were lucky to have some earplugs with us which really helped.!

really great location with fantastic staff.
the property was converted from a consulate and the room doors are probably original, which is cool. But the doors are starting to show their age, our bath room door wouldn’t really close and when I pulled on it, the handle came off. I had to then screw it back on and be very careful going forward. the main door closed no problem, but there’s a gap under the door and you can hear ppl walking by very easily in the morning. this lack of soundproofing made the room feel less private. other than that, it was all good. still would recommend based on the location alone.

I stayed at this hotel over night on my way back to London and then the states. The staff was wonderful and very helpful and had arranged for someone to pick me up at the airport Monday afternoon, and that same lovely gentleman was waiting for me at 4:30am the next morning to take me back to the airport. Traveling can be so stressful and when a hotel tries to make it less so, well they'll get my vote anytime. I was also able to wander around Chiado Square and down to the Marina to watch the boats...everything was so close by.
The carpet was a little tired in spots and I didn't feel really secure with just a regular style key and no security latch. I literally had to use the key to lock my door on the inside. Other than that, my room was good sized and very pretty, and had an expresso maker which is my favorite thing to have when I first wake up.
