Your Hotel & Spa Alcobaça

The bedroom was a bit small but very clean and the breakfast was of a good standard.

It would have been nice to have more tables and chairs to sit around the pool terrace area for eating . Some music would also be a good addition in this area too. Unfortunately wine ( or ‘long coffees’ ) could not be purchased here and we had to use the main hotel bar to buy these to drink with our lunch. We had a double bedroom which felt quite small and neat, a little more space here would be wonderful. Everywhere was immaculately clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

The large swimming pool, natural beauty of grounds, wellness center, restaurant food, and staff were quite amazing-- especially after many days of travel. We loved our time swimming in the pool and experiencing the steam and jacuzzi sessions. We had a delicious dinner and our breakfast was of high quality. The staff were very helpful and sweet. And we enjoyed exploring the nearby interesting and charming town, Alcobaca.

Our room was a bit dark though quite nice overall with a big bath, shower area and comfy robes.

The room was very clean and neat as well as being quiet. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant had a nice selection of offerings which were perfectly prepared.

We believed that the charges to use the warm pool are too expensive and restrictive for the amount of time a guest was allowed to use it. We chose not to use the spa because of these factors.

Outside swimming pool was fastinating. Great breakfast is served. Stuff speaks well english as well as french or spanish.

We booked a standard room but it was really a small one.I’d rather to book a suit. There is not enough plugs in the room to charge our electronic devices at the same time. There was only 1 plug available and we had to unplug the table lamp to put my boyfriend’s phone on charge. The second plug was not easy to acceess under the big study table.

Typical Spa Hotel in a quiet location, well decorated and clean, modern amenities, very nice staff, huge outside pool (which we did not use because we stayed there in November), but there is also sauna and several treatments and a lot of space to go walking. The restaurant food was also very tasty.

Not the fault of the hotel, of course, but sadly Covid times force guests to have breakfast/dinner at allocated times (agreed with the guest), so that the number of people in the room can be controlled. Also be aware that you will need a car if you do not wish to eat or have a drink in the hotel the whole time.

Everything. Staff was amazing and very courteous. helped with any question we had and were attentive and responsive. clean to perfection - dinner was excellent with a really great service staff. breakfast were great, anything we wanted was on the table. very nice and full buffet. My wife used the spa and said that the massage she has was one of the best in her life.

rooms are a bit on the small side bt since we didn't spend time in the room it was not a problem....

All staff were extremely kind and helpful (reception, spa and restaurant). Room was very nice and comfortable and the spa is great. Food standards are high: we had excellent dinner and breakfast. Location is good, close to Alcobaca and very short drive from Nazare. We had a very relaxing break.

It was all great. One tiny remark related to the mattress: a bit too soft for my weight.

we were 2 couples, passing through for 2 nights. what surprises is the smallness of the rooms the staff was welcoming and we were suggested a few restaurants. we appreciated Pratu's Restaurante Bar & Tapas

what we did not appreciate was making an appointment for lunch. After all, we are on vacation! the smallness of the rooms

Everything was amazing. From the staff to the spa to the room. We stayed there the whole weekend and loved every bit of our stay. The restaurant is not expensive and the food is incredible and vegetarian friendly. We are definitely coming back. It’s near some of the most beautiful places to visit, like Nazare.

Everything was amazing, I just wish the Spa would be more controlled. It’s supposed to be a relaxing moment, but some guests were so loud and incredibly rude and ruined our experience. This could have been avoided. But the staff always friendly and installation overall very pleasing.

Staff was missing. nobody at the pool to order drink, nobody at the bar. Everything has to go through reception which can take longer especially if guests are checking in or out. there was stale air in the room
