Ibis Wroclaw Centrum

Ibis hotel turned out to be one of our faves. The hotel was located within a 10-minute walking distance from the centre of the town and if you wanted to get there faster, the tram and bus stop was right outside the hotel. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. There was variety at breakfast but most of all we enjoyed and made the most of the lobby which is an attraction of its own! The reception staff was very polite and helpful! Highly recommended! we will definitely book again!

The only thing that was missing from the room was a small fridge. Given the fact that it was summer, we could use cold water.

They did a great show and were playing english and local songs - we liked that; * There is a luggage room in the hotel and it is pretty big - we used it; * There were bikes for rental that we didn't tried, but looked good; * There is an ATM in front of the hotel; * There was a dedicated water dispenser for filling in your own bottle with filtered water; * The hotel is 25 minutes by walk from the Rynek central square (and 10 minutes by tram). The tram station is 3 minutes from the hotel; * Om the next crossing (direction city center) you can find a big bicycle parking of WRM (the bike rental company) that was pretty convenient.

* The windows of the room were not opening and there was no other alternative to get fresh air into the room;

Staff were lovely - when we arrived with a problem in our booking (my fault) they sorted it straight away. The hotel is everything you expect from a well known chain - clean, functional, standard facilities. Extra touches I liked was the room was bigger than usual so plenty of space for luggage and there was a water fountain on every floor and a jug for your room. The room was quiet and comfy. The location is a little out of the centre (walkable in 20mins from rynek or there are trams but that doesnt take so much less time by the time you walk to and from stops and wait) but it's very close to the railway arches at Arkady which have lots of bars and restaurants in them which is fun and food and drinks are good. Taxi from airport cost 110zl (at 3am) and takes about 25mins bus 106 to airport goes to Remona stop and takes about 45mins in the day (night bus might be available). Use jakodade website to check public transport.

The location isn't central old Town which we knew when we booked but in hindsight I'd rather have been closer but that would have been more expensive. The lively railway arches do make this an attractiveness area though (and you cant hear them or the trains at all!) All in all it was a perfectly good base for a city break and I would stay again unless I wanted to be more central.

Comfortable rooms, fast check in, breakfast good, great WiFi, housekeeping do a great job, reception staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast staff mostly friendly, location slightly further away than most would like but having stayed here before we like the walk in to the centre. Tram stop very close if needed. Airport approx 25-30 mins by taxi.

Shower could have been more powerful but it worked so not the end of the world ! Pillows not great but hard to find a hotel with pillows to suit all tastes lol. There isn't a lot to not like, it's an Ibis, inside a Novotel, it does what it says with the name.

The breakfast is very good. You get extra goodies when you leave. The staff is helpful and the location is great, you can easily walk to the city center. There is a store nearby that closes late, you can get everything you need from there. The area is quiet and you can sleep well. Great value.

The parking is a little pricey. We used the free parking at Kuronia 1 street with no problems. There is a 25 minutes walk to the hotel. Nothing really to complain about.

Breakfast was great - loved the variety of fresh fruit. Appreciated water stations on each floor that enabled us to refill water bottles. Room was well laid out and appointed. Foyer had room to play games and relax. We weren't travelling with kids but thought that in the past our kids would have appreciated the area.

Only minor point was a packet of tissues in the room would have been great.

The breakfast was delicious. Service very helpful. Restaurant staff experienced and very polite - Similarly reception staff - especially lady who helped solve the problem with reservation of a parking space.Good localization.

The room was very small. Sink a little too low - it was not possible to enter the wheelchair under her. Not enough parking spaces for the disabled at the level of the entrance door to the hotel.Entrance door very difficult to overcome for a person in a wheelchair manual.

So many things were exceptional: - great breakfast with an unseen nr of choices - great staff - restaurant Novo 2 having nice Chef and being open on 25-26 of December - good Gym and Sauna - convenient location - cleaning staff actually replacing sheets and pillow covers - room service being available in a 3-star hotel

- on 27-29 every morning around 7-9 am there was some weird noise of very loud banging - like 10-12 times and then it stops for 1 hour and then repeats. It’s impossible not to wake up from it, but hard to tell if it comes from neighbors, door banging or some construction site nearby. - rooms are relatively cold. i would say 20-22 degrees maximum, which is pretty cold - Novo 2 menu could be better - for example Christmas menu had fish with way too many bones - I would rather expect boneless sea bass

Ladies Elena and Ewelina at the reception demonstrated a level of service I have not seen for ages. Client-oriented and eager to find a bespoke solution for my problem. This quality is a true treasure nowadays. Usually the staff does not care more than they have to, but the two ladies showed me that there is a hope and they really did everything they could to help me. If there is the willingness no IT system or reaching out to the supervisor is a problem. PRICELESS!
