Hotel Imperiale

The Hotel Imperiale is perfectly located for visiting the Auschwitz Museum experience which is only 300m away. While it's location is on the fringe of a small industrial area, it doesn't take away from the beauty of the surrounding towns & countryside. Ample parking outside if your driving or indeed space for motor homes who wish to park up for the night. The rooms themselves are very clean, bright, spacious and well appointed even down to the complimentary toiletries which included a toothbrush & tooth paste. All of the staff we're very helpful and willing to ensure our stay with them was perfect in every way. The buffet breakfast was really nice with both fresh & cooked foods. We really enjoyed our stay here and would easily recommend the Hotel Imperiale to anyone.

The only slight disappointment is the small industrial area the hotel borders - but even with this in mind it is far outweighed by the comfort and standards of the hotel itself and location to the main tourist attraction Auschwitz.

Across the road from Aushwitz concentration camp so if you are visiting the museum I would recommend the hotel Very large rooms and shower rooms very clean and well presented Hotel communal area very clean and tidy hotel staff extremely helpful and spoke good english really good food in restaurant at a good price Free Parking on site. for the price we paid for the stay I wasn't expecting too much but it exceeded my expectations

Large, clean room with new furniture, large flat screen TV. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. I recommend lunch and dinner at a local restaurant - extremely tasty. Beds comfortable, bathroom large, no cramped spaces. Large parking lot. In recent years, the ability to stream your own content to the TV, e.g. Netflix, HBO, etc., is about the only thing I missed here. Within walking distance of the museum.

Very delicious and well priced food in the restaurant. We had dinner there and it was very tasty, our included breakfast the next morning was also very good. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Check in and out was easy. Our room was spacious and clean, well presented. Uncovered parking is available for a small fee right in front of the door. We stayed here while we were visiting The Auschwitz-Birkenau Camp. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk across the street which was fantastic.

Only thing we didn't like was the mattress, we though it was too hard but that is a personal preference of ours.

This hotel is literally down the street from the main parking lot of Auschwitz, from which you enter the concentration camp. The rooms have all the standard mod cons, the A/C works well, it is quiet, and the food in the restaurant exceeds expectations. Note that if you have a tour prearranged at a specific time at the camp, make sure you arrive early to check in. There is a small mob scene at the entrance, and you have to line up for a security check, passport check, tour check-in and headset assignment before you reach the theater where the tour starts. Multiple tours leave at the same time, so also give yourself time to find your group.

The only possible complaint is that there is a charge for parking, considering the rural location. The hotel itself is quite nice.

We came to visit the memorial site and did not want to travel from Krakow. It is literally just across the street and the perfect location to stay, park, and visit the memorial. Everything we needed was onsite. A very clean and serene place to stay. Complimentary water was provided in the rooms and they even had toothbrushes as part of the toiletries which I haven't seen in a hotel, even the five star, in years. Beds were comfortable (and large... my husband is 6'4") and food in the restaurant was excellent with ice cold drinks. They staff was amazing both at reception and in the restaurant.

I was a little disappointed that as a guest you paid for parking. You needed to pole vault to get into the tub/shower. If you're older or have knee issues, definitely book the accessible room.

spacious, exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, beautiful decor. We had a ground floor room which was superb. Very good breakfast lots of choice, very friendly staff always happy to help. We stayed two nights in Oswiecim purposely to visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau camps this hotel was the perfect location 5mins walk away. secure on site parking. The restaurant was exceptional and for sure they need to hang on to that chef, the meals was like fine dining. Wi-Fi always worked 100%. we very much enjoyed our stay there and if the need arises we would not hesitate to stay again.

absolutely nothing cannot fault it

I travelled with my family; 3 grown-up kids and we stayed just 1 night. We visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Actually, the hotel is just 1 minute walking from the entrance of the museum; perfect location. The rooms and the bathrooms were really spacious, clean and comfortable. My wife liked the smell of the cleaning liquid; she even asked the brand at the reception. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Even the name of the cleaning lady was written in the room; we did not have to blame her :) The breakfast was very good. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant; the food was really good and not expensive. Wifi was surprisingly good.

My youngest child (11 yrs old, 150+ cm tall) was a little bit complaining about the 3rd bed (foldable sofa-bed) that was a bit noisy and small; it is really just for a small child. Our rooms were not close to each others, I stayed with my wife on the ground floor while my kids' room was on the first floor on the other side, but as my oldest is 17, it did not cause any issue. It is still a 10 points hotel.

Perfect base when you plan to visit Auschwitz museum, especially when you plan to stay here longer. You don't need to manage parking when you travel by car because you can leave your car on the hotel parking for the whole stay. Restaurant has beautiful and delicious meals. We highly recommend this place and for sure we will arrive again!

The only minus is that you need to pay for parking also if you are hotel guest (approx. 8€/day), but the position of hotel and parking is truly great so for sure it's worth that money.

Upon arrival and at all times the staff were very helpful. The room was bigger than I expected, with everything I needed: fridge, hairdryer, tea/coffee. Bed was very comfortable and room air conditioning worked well. Fantastic there is a supermarket 100m across the car park. Breakfast was lovely with a large range to choose from. Airport transfers well priced and on time. A wonderful one night stay for my flying visit to see Auschwitz.
