-The little villas were amazing and the gardens and pool were beautiful. -the outside shower and patio were great. -they provided us with everything we needed and even more: we had a badminton set and even a wine fridge with great French wines -Every morning we had amazing freshly made breakfast on the beach -they even gave us a mobile phone so we can call the driver to pick us up -every morning we got fresh beach towels and water to take with us on our day trip on the island -the staff was very nice and helpful, especially Andrew -the bed and pillows were comfortable -laundry service was quick and good - the daily housekeeping was very good and clean

-we rented a scooter. The helmets provided were old, smelly, too big and not really safe

Somewhere Else - not only the name of this resort is unique. This marvellous place at the beach is one of a kind and went beyond our expectations. We haven't been to a better resort in Camiguin or even the Philippines. The owner of this resort is exceptional if it comes to caring for the guest's happiness and their experience on Camiguin Island. The cottages are great, somehow a piece of art, nonetheless well thought-out. This is shown in details like the outside shower or a flash light to wander around in the nice gardens of the resort or island pathways at night. Besides, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is modern and very spacious, the outside lounge area is great and the "minibar" is very well equipped. Besides the beach there is a pool as well. And last but not least, their breakfast is delicious and beautifully arranged.

We came here with our two kids and had a wonderful stay! Jerome's recommendations for restaurants and day trips were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was served in the villa which was great for us. We were also offered free TukTuk rides to and from restaurants for dinner. All the staff were very accommodating und friendly. Our villa was very spacious and the outside patio had enough room to spread out. Also I have to mention that there is more space than usual for drying wet clothes ands towels. Simply the best in Camiguin and probably all of Philippines. I wasnt sure what to make of all the rave reviews of this place, but now i know. From the spacious and well appointed villas set in a tropical paradise to the exceptionally wonderful service from Jerome and his team. This place is a stand out for all the right reasons. Camiguin has so much to offer and Jerome and his team will help you get the most out of it. Whether you want to relax and really soak up the serenity of the property, or if you want to explore the island all day, you can do as much or as little as you want. The team make everything easy. Perfect for honeymooners through to families, you can get all the help you need while still having privacy and serenity. Everything you need is here and more. From free airport transfers, to free transfers to restaurants for dinner, to a scrumptious breakfast and fantastic amenities. Even little details, they have thought of everything. Don't hesitate to book this place. It is truly worth every peso.

We decided to spend 3 nights at Somewhere Else Boutique Hotel during our honeymoon in the Philippines. It was certainly the right decision! The villa was amazing, special touches everywhere and fully equipped. The garden and pool are also very nice. Breakfast on the beach was delicious. The motorbike we rented with Jerôme was ready upon arrival and was in very good condition. Overall Jerôme was an amazing host. Always ready to help and also respectful towards the guest privacy. We had great conversations with him every morning and followed his valuable advice while visiting the island. This is the place to stay in Camiguin, you won't regret it! Merci beaucoup Jerôme!

Did a family trip over a weekend. The place is absolutely tranquil and relaxing. We got the resort all to ourselves, which made it really private and comfortable. We all loved it, from their services, breakfast, and to the owner, who is quite hospitable. Highly recommended, definitely would be coming back. We all loved the dogs in the property,they are quite adorable.

Would be lovely to have more lights by the beachside.

We had an awesome time at Somewhere Else Boutique Resort. Amenities were great, but the service was even more impressive! We were a party of 18 heads - 3 senior citizens and 6 kids. So I understood the difficulty of finding accommodation that would suit us all. I am grateful to have corresponded with Jerome, the resort owner. He’s straightforward, very easy to talk to. Upon knowing our group profile, he immediately closed the three villas in the resort for us while giving me some three days to make the final decision. The resort exceeded everyone’s expectations! Every family was delighted to see their own villa, how each villa was tastefully designed. There was a spacious lanai with a daybed, and an outdoor shower. I appreciate the fresh flowers as a decor in each villa, the candles, and the katol with lighter. Complimentary coffee tasted nicely. I would brew for myself upon waking up at 5am and sip a cup while enjoying the sunrise at the beach. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Kids freely ran around the lawn. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience for everyone. Food was overflowing. We loved the breads, we heard were prepared by a German baker. The thick hot chocolate was a bestseller. They prepared both continental and Filipino breakfast for the whole group each day. Everything was tasty. When the skies cleared up, the staff happily set up an outdoor breakfast for us - it was divine! It was great to have the resort all to ourselves, and the staff happily interacted with us and met our requests. Jerome was specifically very hands-on, guided us with our daily itinerary. He has the foresight to ensure that guests are comfortable in their itinerary, including providing detail guidance on the requirements to enter Camiguin. What impressed us the most was how a staff quietly contacted a person at the port to ensure that we are taken care of when we were departing for CDO. Really awesome service! Meant to be treasured, we hope to be back!

Everything was excellent! Jerome is such a lovely host and made us feel welcomed even though we arrived early to the check-in time. Jerome and his team were all friendly and accommodating. I only wished we stayed longer as 2 nights was a bit short. But overall, it was a wonderful experience. :)

Everything. It is a really nice place, quiet and beautiful. The owner was very kind, explaining all the things to visit and he and the staff were very thoughful and atrentive. The breakfast was really wonderful and varied, handmade. It is a animal friendly place too.

All has been said on previous reviews - whatever you think you may need, Jerome has already thought about it. This place makes you feel grateful, it is truly SomeWhere Else.

If only Jerome was also in charge of the weather.. :-)
