The Marison Hotel

The property is well located and the rooms are a good size and very comfortable . The staff are quite helpful but sometimes they seemed to have there hands tired at times .

The Hotel at night is very noisy during the night with dogs in the street barking all night . i spoke to the very nice lady manageress who told me they were asking the local ministry officials to deal with this , but as of today the barking dogs are still barking all evening. i hope for the staff and management of the hotel get it sorted out . Taxi are also difficult to get at Hotel

i like the location and cleanliness of the room and the common area

i didn’t like that there’s a ‘surprise’ security deposit upon check-in! i mean, what if i didn’t have enough cash with me which was my case during check-in, instead i gave all my money to your hotel coz i was traveling on a budget!

The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Rooms were clean and kept clean everyday.The housekeeping staff are top rate! Food at Il Moreso was delicious. Plenty of choices in the breakfast buffet. There was a bit of a wait for a 2nd group of passengers in the airport pick up because our flight arrived earlier. But it was alright since we were in the cool shuttle. The room amenities were excellent. They thought of everything - combs, shower caps, toothbrush and tooth paste, shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, vanity kit and room slippers. If u forgot to bring Jem, you need not buy.

I wish they had a second chair in the room. There were three of us and had to take turns using the chair when we needed to do stuff requiring us to sit properly.

I normally base my reviews through my kids experience. According to their own words, the Marison Hotel is the best hotel they've ever been. My son said "it was amazing!" When I asked him about our stay. The staff are super friendly and polite. Our room was clean. Our experience here is more than a 3-star hotel. There are a few kinks like the shower drain doesn't drain fast enough. I had to turn off the water to let it drain, but hey, we are helping save water 😉. The lobby and hallway are always clean. The breakfast buffet was also great. We always have issues with our kids eating breakfast, and our stay at the Marison has been the best we've seen our kids eat breakfast. Keep up the good work Marison. Will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Legaspi City.

clean and well kept…clean hotel toilets and that’s very important and bidets in all the public toilets at the hotel. that alone makes me very happy to have stayed in this hotel.

the street infront of our room was noisy with loud music going on from the bar across the street…maybe they should install soundproof glass on their windows for a more peaceful stay. they need to train their restaurant staff more…they don’t do service too well in the breakfast area…they’re cooks in the egg station can have better training as well.

This place was a little Gem, the suite was a little pricey but well worth it. The room was amazing in comparison to 99 percent of the places we stayed in the Philippines and many four and five star hotels in the US. I’m not sure about the rest of the rooms in the hotel because it seemed that there were only four of the suites tha we booked, but ours as very large with a living room, bar area, and a wrap around balcony. We will definitely book again next year when we return.

The kids loved our stay in this hotel. It’s the newest place in Legazpi & they have 2 in-house restaurant (GF) and a bar on the top floor. Front desk staff were all attentive to our needs & went beyond our expectations. They were welcoming & very courteous from wait staff, housekeeping & reception staff. Would highly recommend this place to all balikbayans who plan to spend a week ot two in Albay province.

This is the best hotel in whole Legazpi City and the only one with Swiss standart. We tested several hotels in Legazpi. Only this I can recommend. I will come back for sure.

They delivered the wrong food to our room. I realized it too late after I paid already. Next time I will check it before I have to pay. Then the menu card is not updated when it comes to prices. If you order something they can and will charge more than they offered. It's written in the menu card that it can happen but then please update your card. We paid 25% more for the steak. Thank you. Then the water runs out from the shower to the room, because the glas is wrong constructed. But still the best hotel in whole Legazpi because in all others a lot more is wrong or don't work.
