we particularly liked the facilities and organization of the diving center adjacent to the hotel! We also really appreciated the restaurant offering the arch, a selection of good quality food! We also appreciated the service and friendliness of the staff.

We were dismayed, however, when we saw the amount of garbage on the beach and in the water, making it very difficult to swim. Unless you want to swim between plastic and countless bottles and all kinds of packaging, all the hotels should coordinate to make this place a paradise by cleaning up the edges of the beaches every day, as well as the seabeds just in front of the beaches! Please note that the hotel does not accept card payments over 10k, so bring enough cash to avoid credit card payment charges (4%) for smaller amounts.

Very nice located directly at the beach, we had a garden room that was quiet at night. The room itself was beautifully designed and spacious. They clean it every day perfectly and in the evening you get a little surprise, so take a look at your front door after 9pm :) The staff was nice overall. If you have an early dive, they will prepare you a sandwich.

It's a bit pricy compared with other hotels we stayed in the Phillipines. Same for their restaurant and the dive center they cooperate with - do not book blindly there, compare the prices and kindness to one of the other 30 dive centers 100m around the hotel ;)

Everything was great : the bedroom was big and really comfortable with AC, the terrace in front of the room is really a plus, the restaurant and beach bar were perfect, food was really good and beverage also, the access to longchairs on the beach, the proximity with the beach and everything you need, we enjoyed every moment! Also, all the staff was so kind, really concerned and attentive to our need, we highly recommend this resort

The pressure of the shower wasn’t great but it’s fine

Our stay at Ocean Vida Hotel in Malapascua was truly delightful! The prime location by the sea created a picturesque backdrop for our experience. The massages were exceptional, ensuring a perfect blend of relaxation. The service was consistently warm and helpful. We couldn't get enough of the delicious food – the culinary offerings were a highlight of our stay, providing a delightful gastronomic experience. And of course, the Happy Hour added an extra layer of joy, with meticulously crafted cocktails. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to savor both the scenic views and the delectable cuisine!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was more than amazing! The staff is incredibly nice, joyful and you directly feel welcomed. As it was Christmas, they even did the effort of having a full course christmas dinner for very affordable price. Restaurant has great food, drinks are great too with 2 happy hours! There is also an ATM at the lobby which is super convenient.

The only low may be the transfer services provided. While on the way to go the trip was longer, the driver drove very safely and was very nice. In comparison, on the way back we had a driver who seemed in a rush and drove super super fast. Sure we arrived in 3hrs but boy the ride was scary.

The staff were so lovely! They always ensured we were comfortable and happy. They brought complimentary water over to us while we were at the beach during the day, and served free popcorn during happy hour which was a really nice touch! They even left cake on our doorknob at night with a sweet little note (although the ants often got to the cake before we did). The dive centre was very well stocked, and my dive instructor Sylvia was an absolute gem of a human! She made my advanced open water course so enjoyable (especially considering I was doing it on my own). They have multiple modes of payment which is really handy. They even have their own ATM machine right next to the reception if you need it. The transfer to and from mainland Cebu was also very helpful.

The drain for the shower had to be pumped (which I understand- it’s an island), but perhaps they weren’t pumped regularly enough? In our 5 night stay we had the drain in our shower overflow twice (and we don’t take particularly long showers). It wasn’t too much of an issue the first time because it happened while we were sleeping, but the second time was while I was in the shower and I had to finish washing my hair in the sink. Again, not too much of an issue. Just something to consider.

From the very first moment we felt super welcomed in this hotel! We booked the shuttle transfer from airport, including the fairy to the island. The check-in was the most informative and friendliest I‘ve had in a very long time. Although we did not dive, we enjoyed 3 wonderful days with yoga lessons, using the little gym, amazing massages, snorkelling, drinks at the bar and chilling at the privat beach (only a second away from our room!). Restaurant offers a wide variety of food during the whole day. Each and every employee was super nice, friendly and helpful. Every part of the hotel was super clean and looked very nice. We loved it so much there, recommending this property to everyone. We plan to return soon! Thank you!

Worth every cent! Beautiful location, good food (the pizzas were great!) and who could hate 3 hours of happy hour? Service was top notch as well and we had a great stay

Hotel transfers are pricey in comparison to the local guys who can arrange the same service It's sometimes difficult to get a seat during happy hour but this wasn't a real issue

Extremely friendly staff, always try to please the guests. Breakfast is a buffet, which have each day different kind of food. They accept all kind of credit cards, an ATM is onsite. In the evening they provide some sweets at the door.

The choice of food of the restaurant is good, but cooking really needs to be improved. But there are a lot other good restaurants very close by, so no issue for guests. Other smaller issue is the low water pressure in the sink and shower.

We loved the location and our room being directly on the beach. Roll out of bed and onto the beach or into a dive shop. Our beachfront patio was a relaxing place to chill. Staff was wonderful and accommodating (thank you GR, Eileen, and everyone!). Lunch and dinner were tasty.

The room was comfortable but could benefit from some minor refreshing, particularly the bathroom. Still a great room and great value being on the beach though. Breakfast did the job but wasn’t anything remarkable.
