Best Western Laegreid Hotell

Quite place, clean rooms with comfortable beds.

Not really typical country side hotel. The other reviews mentioned they liked the leather interior details and furniture. For me it doesn't give any coziness. It give me some strange vibe of cheap hotel which was try to disguised with leather furniture. But I guess it just me. The breakfast was OK, but not much for my taste. For supper very little choice. (only main dish). Also they say that free parking is available. But this if you get very lucky (hotel yard is only for several cars). Otherwise you have to go and park around hotel in parking for which you have to pay. I think they should note that in advertise as its confusing.

My recent stay at Best Western Laegreid Hotell was a delightful experience overall. One of the highlights of our stay was the extensive breakfast offered by the hotel. The wide array of options catered to various tastes and dietary preferences, with something for everyone. The food's excellent quality, variety, and freshness impressed us. We were pleasantly surprised by the presence of USB-A and USB-C ports next to the bed, making it incredibly convenient to charge our electronic devices without adapters or searching for outlets. Such thoughtful details showcased the hotel's commitment to a comfortable and modern stay. Moreover, there is free parking in front of the hotel from 17:00 until 8:00, adding to the convenience and value of the stay. Overall, Best Western Laegreid Hotell exceeded our expectations, with its cleanliness, stylish interior design, extensive breakfast options, and convenient amenities. We would gladly choose this hotel again in the future. For a well-maintained hotel with a touch of American flair, this is an excellent choice.

The staff is always nice, polite, and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and well decorated. I particularly enjoy the style of the lobby and the rooms, much more so than the cold ultra-modern hotels we see too often nowadays.

Again, I deplore the ridiculously small size of teacups for breakfast. I like staying at Lagreid, but these tea-cups do not contribute to my enjoyment (I usually use a coffee mug to drink tea, even though these are also too small).

Nice location in quiet fjord town. Beautiful hotel with classic interior. Larger room than average and wonderful view of the city.

No major complaints, but the bar advertised was not open. Drinks were available at front desk and public space in lobby or outside would work. Also not sure about public access men’s toilet in the basement - definitely designed for mature audiences only.

The room is quite big compared with other hotels I lived in Norway! The breakfast is wonderful as well:) The elder lady who helped me check out is super nice.

During our stay, the elevator was out of work. We lived on fourth floor so we have to carry the super heavy luggages ourselves (we travel for about a month). The young lady didn’t give any help…

Good location, with a 5-minute walk to the ferry landing and a good pub next door (Fjora Gastro & Pub). Comfortable and clean hotel -- like most Best Westerns. No complaints, and it served our purpose well for one night. We easily walked to the ferry terminal the next morning.

The TV stations were fairly limited, but not a big deal.

The rooms are very comfortable, particularly the armchairs .The location is very central. The breakfast is great - not the biggest variety I've ever seen, but solid Scandinavian fare. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. This wasn't my first visit and it definitely won't be my last.

Very comfy beds, good location, nice interior, receptionist (man with dark or black hair) was very nice polite and easy to talk to.

Main door to the hotel is locked in nigh time and 3 cards we had did not work, so 2 times we had to call reception to unlock the door for us. Elevator is very nice design but a little bit small and difficult to use especially with luggage.

Breakfast was adequate, but it is the least appreciated of an otherwise pleasant stay, as there are no decently sized tea-cups available. The ones we're supposed to use are in fact even smaller than the coffee-cups. This is regrettable.

The location is excellent - right in the middle of things. The atmosphere is home-like. The staff are exceptionally helpful. Very clean. Very quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Original decor. Cozy lobby.

The breakfast could have been a little more varied.
