Mandal Hotel

Excellent location and very friendly staff. The room was spacious with modern design. Big windows allow to enjoy the view outside. The bathroom was spotless, which is a big positive!

The breakfast is the only thing I could suggest to be improved. There are two things I could note: 1) Same dishes served both days. 2) At one point there was no cutlery and no glasses available, so several guests had to wait few minutes before the staff brought more. One minor point: You need to add the parking cost to your budget.

I like that Mandal finally has another HOTEL since I last visited! It was long overdue. Everyone was helpful, the food was great at breakfast and for dinner on another night. The location and access to the city was wonderful.

GPS took us down back streets which were gated. Oh, well we finally figured it out. The pay to park situation was a bit confusing and could've been explained more at check-in.

EV chargers do not belong to hotel (if you are not from Norway odds are your charging cards wont work at the charger, I tried four different ones without luck); hotel doesn’t have any proprietary parking; only public paid parking lot next to it.

Rebecca! She is a jewel. She helped with everything and we appreciated her smile and welcoming way very much! Breakfast was very good, even enough supplies for food allergicans. Comfortable beds!

Room was tiny! Sparse with towels, we did not even have a bath matt, so we needed to use our own towels for the floor.

Small room. Couldn't sleep well due to very high temperature in the room and no possibility to control it (hadd window open but that didn't help a lot). Breakfast was decent but all typicall warm food came out about one hour into the breakfast.

Parking only free from 17:00-08:00. Outside this, you have to pay for parking at the hotel.

The breakfast was great! Bacon, eggs og all sorts, fresh fruit and really good barista cafe latte. (Had to order it from the staff, but they made it gladly for me.).

The standard room I booked was a bit small. Ok in size, but a bit small. The room Looked out over the play ground (not the beautiful Mandal river) which was a bit boring view.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is clean and modern. Hotel is ideally situated, giving easy access to the town of Mandal Meals with Hotel are very good.

Although rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed, there was no storage for clothing etc.

Lovely big room overlooking the harbour. Good breakfast. Good beds.

Would have liked to have a kettle / coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Or access to coffee and tea in the lobby during the day.

We were visiting family and this hotel came highly recommended. There are several room size and configuration options which worked well for us. Staff is friendly, location is fantastic.
