Landmark Manor

Our Hosts went to extra lengths to provide for our need for gluten free breakfast and make sure we had what we needed. Very welcoming and helped to carry our bags up the stairs as we are an older couple. The studio was well serviced each day and very clean. The location is great for cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and city shipping and a moderate walk to Puke Ariki, The Wind Wand and the waterfront walkway, and also to Pukekura Park

Leach street is busy at times and can be difficult to cross for older people. The kitchen light, when it is on, is painful on the eyes when trying to watch TV.

When you sit in the toilet on the shower wall, looking at the bottom back of the wall shower frame, some ugly rust is seen. At first, it looked like human waste, but it was rust.. Behind the washroom door, gaps are seen on the frame and near the hand wash on the left top side of the tile grout, missing .. but it's nothing, and it's super clean ..good place to stay for a quick visit...property has no open views.on rear ..

Our room was very clean we noticed it as soon as we walked in the door. Modern and a nice atmosphere. Bed was super comfy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Lovely and central but surprisingly quiet. Would be happy to recommend to stay here if looking for a central location at a good affordable price.

Car parks are a little tight. But you get that in most places these days.

Lovely staff. Location was perfect for our needs and quiet considering so close to highway. Easy walk into town for eating out. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Good size bathroom. Everything was beautifully clean. Excellent that any kitchenware used is taken and put through their dishwasher.

The chaise longue was only comfortable for short periods.

Price, location, friendly helpful staff, good reception services, very clean studio unit which met (and exceeded in some ways) my expectations. Everything was working such as lights, taps, tv, remote, jug etc. Easy to get to on the road networks and very easy walking to all the restaurants and main street shops.

Nothing that I wouldn’t get anywhere else ~ a little road noise especially due to the very wet roads but I’d stay there again without hesitation.

This is difficult to review as we didn't end up staying there because the unit had a broken shower that morning & no other units available! However the manager was most apologetic and had booked a room at the Plymouth International Hotel up the road. She hopped in the car with us as a guide and facilitated the check in & prepaid the room. The hotel has a 4 star rating (8) and was roomy & comfortable

Very handy to town. Continental breakfast was lovely, room was clean and tidy. New super king bed. Air conditioner was great.

Bed was too firm for my liking, pohutukawa all over my car this morning. Would have liked to have moved closer to building but was told by owner to park there so I could see my car from the room.

The location was spot on, and how warm and cozy the room was. It was nice and quiet🙂 The use of the WIFI, we didn't need to ask for a password. That was awesome. Checking in was a breeze. Map was given to us of the area. Spot on, we would stay here again.

Maybe parking, one space allocated to a unit.

Lovely Manager who was very helpful. Given it’s location on the main road I was surprised how quiet it was. Clever use of storage cabinets. Close to restaurants. Spotlessly clean.

No vanity in the bathroom as only one sink to be shared between bathroom & kitchenette in the open studio unit was unusual but worked ok.

The locality is perfect. It allows travelers to walk to town or travel wider and return each nite. 2 x supermarkets on the doorstep and only a short walk to restaurants.

There is building going on opposite and it is a bit noisy. Hopefully it will be finished soon.
