Large super clean room. Comfortable bed. Good location. Quiet. Liked everything except the view of the cars outside the room. We left something behind and they let us know very quick so we could return for it. Fantastic service.

We had a ground floor room so was a bit disappointed the view wasn't what we saw in the pictures. I didn't recall there being any info or being able to choose upstairs when we booked. I think that needs to be clearer as upstairs would be amazing.

Location was excellent. We got excellent (friendly and helpful) service for any queries. Great being able to house our bikes inside out of the rain.

It would have been great to have been upstairs overlooking the road and into the port (as i the pictures) instead of facing straight onto the road and parked cars directly outside your sliding doors. I would also have appreciated bedside lamps.

This place exceeded expectations - great kitchenette and extras. The view from the balcony amazing and the area is quiet and the sun dazzled in. Great hosts and really adhering to covid protocols - clean unit and they were able to accommodate our request. For the price of the room - awesome value. Great cafe around the corner , walk into town and great restaurants across the bridge over the river. Fantastic hosts! Would be your number one stay!

Very good space for a solo traveller with car parking which was really good. Clean with all the amenities.

The neighbors were loud having a party outside and you could hear everything at 4pm so lucky I went out with friends that was the only issue.

Large sized room with free parking close to the CBD and marina area. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely balconies that face put to the marina, also a short walk to the beach

Excellent sized rooms, great bathroom and kitchen had everything we could need for a few days away.

Unfortunately, some older guests were up and shouting to each other at 7am Sunday. They were a large group who showed no consideration to other guests who weren't in their group.

Excellent location to superb cafes and restaurants. Owner very welcoming and knowledgeable about Gisborne and highlights to see. The size of the room was amazing so spacious and bed comfy!

The Senator is easily accessible and central. The rooms were clean spacious and comfortable. The hotel initially did not have a room available for 2 nights, however contacted us as soon as one became available which meant we could be with our group of friends in the same Motel. We really appreciated the follow up courtesy call.

A positive suggestion not a complaint. There is a large table and chairs in the carpark area perfect for relaxing with a drink in the afternoon sun, but a little ambience could be created if it was separated from the parked cars by a few strategically placed potted plants.
